I personally dont mind private labelling as long as they have their own packaging/theme/shade names and what not. Of course its a little annoying when u realize that a lot of brands are coming out with the same exact shadows at the same time because u dont want to buy dupes, but starting a brand from scratch is hella expensive, and private labelling is a good alternative. I freaking love this palette, and its SO affordable compared to adept

Like Break the Rules is $27.99 and Plain Jane is $62...if they have 6 of the same shades, why such a vast difference in price? seriously! like i don't hear all this hate directed at clionadh, devinah, terra moons, etc for them all releasing EXTREMELY similar if not identical products at the same time, but people really want to tear down this brand? for what? and there is one person in particular that i have seen time and time again spouting really gross hate towards things produced in china, like she isn't even trying to hide her sinophobia/racism. there's nothing wrong with criticizing their government and having concerns with production practices in general, but to act like iffy production practices and standards are only a china thing is absurd. do we remember the weird situation with jaclyn hill's production? i work in production in the u.s. for medical parts and trust, it aint perfect (i've had to call out some people for being really gross and heard stories of stuff passing quality that definitely should not have passed quality)
I was just thinking of comments I left on 2 videos from a specific youtuber awhile back because of her obvious distaste for anything made in China. She was targeting other particular creators and 2 specific companies trying to turn people away from them with misinformation and xenophobia. I was kinda pissed at the time but I can not remember the channels name right now (my memory sucks)

They were super critical of Angelica & Kaleidos being in China.. it made me sick to be honest because it was just alot more criticism, judgements and negativity than I'm used to seeing. I can't recall whos channel but i know they didn't show their face, on that video anyway.

Let's be real there is only so many shades u can make u can plenty of dupes between each brand I have shades from Devinah Terra Moon Clindoah that all dupe each other but the formulas are different. People just complain over anything now days if u like the shades and formula buy it if they don't then don't I don't get why people want to always come for someone. Anyway thanks for doing comparisons for us always enjoy it

I just love the look you created with the red!! It’s stunning! I’d purchased this palette instead of the plain Jane. it was more cost effective for me, and I’d seen they had very similar shades. I’ve seen a lot of chatter about them also., and my perception wasn’t that it was a negative thing tho.., people curious and didn’t want to spend their $$ on shades that they’ve already got. The owner was quite transparent, and her price was great!
People were being judgemental about the private labeling not so much about buying doubles. And also accusing one brand of copying the other and there was a lot of misinformation spread among comments on youtube videos as well as on Instagram which was my issue I was adressing.
i don't care about all the negative comments people have started spewing out of nowhere, i'm super excited for this palette! i've been thinking about it and planning on getting it ever since i saw annette's vid and i finally got in on the 3rd round preorders. if the quality and performance is good, the owners arent racist/sexist/ableist/problematic, price is right, why do i care about anything else. i'd rather support a small woman owned business, who seems to have been inclusive since launch, than a huge corp (especially a huge corp trying to suddenly be "woke" and "inclusive" when it's performative af) you know?

I finally got mine with the third round of pre orders! Although I had to get the palette and mirror but I’m happy I got the palette! Just a tad annoying that it’s out of stock as a single palette, but have the palette and mirror in stock, which implies they still have palettes, but make you order it with the mirror if you want it 🤦♀️ but oh well! Just glad I could get the palette!
I don’t mind private labeling. I just don’t personally want to purchase palettes, thinking I’m getting shades I don’t own. Then, realize I already own the shades. Unless it’s a comparison video, it’s not always easy to see that u may already own specific shades! Wish there was a good database that kept up with that, so u could find out if u own shades or not.

I ordered the alien all I ever wanted palette and this has a couple shades like in this one. I look at it as having back ips of those colors and wont need to buy new ones for a long time. Lol
