Thanks Susie, I just migrated to the UK from Hong Kong, and found your channel introducing the culture in UK. The information introduced by you and your mother are really very useful for new migrants.
It is so cute to interview your own mother. Thanks for sharing. This is so useful to a lot of Hong Kong people who recently migrate to UK. And next time pls bring in Sid😽 pls…….
Hi Susie, I just can't say enough how much lovely and elegant your accent is. I would very much happy if you would do a video of whole English conversation. Maybe you could do a playlist of whole British English conversation videos. It would be amazing. Much love!
Hi Susie, this is very helpful and there isn't many similar videos available! I'm a pharmacist and been working closely with NHS and other health organisations in the past years and very much second your comments!
Wow!! Actually it helps a lot. I am a geriatrian in Taiwan and once took a exchange course in Nottingham University Hospital. That will really remind me the good old time there back in the UK. This kind of video do help people to know more about the difference between two medical system. Hope to see more of these in the future.
Thank you very much indeed ,Susie and your doctor Mum who came to update us with latest information on how to book medical appointment with GP in UK and its related matters. This is absolutely helpful and informative especially for new comers to UK. You are a most capable speaker and also extremely fluent in Mandarin. Once again, may I express my sincere appreciation for the varieties of all useful and tailor-made programs on your UA-cam videos which I have mostly seen it all. 🤣🤣🤗🤗👍👍👍👏👏👏🙏🙏🙏👧
It's a really good native English course. Appreciated. One suggestion, if you could consider, to have a summary at the end of each session, highlights the key points for learning.
I am from Shanghai, stayed in Australia for 16yrs but I would say I am still not good at all in speaking. I also hardly enjoy the very strong Uk or Nz accents. However, your pronunciation made me love the real original English, I think it should be the standard of the pronunciation. Clear, accurate and relaxing.
than you for making videos like these, it not only helps me to understand how things work in England but also to reflect on how we can do things differently in Taiwan.
I just moved to Scotland. The video is helpful, although the regulations for NHS.scot are slightly different from NHS in England. Thank you. I thought only GP refer the patients to specialists. Surprisingly, nurses, pharmacists or any specialist in the NHS system can do as well.
You two are too cute. Your little play wasn’t quite good. You don’t sound like doctor and patient at all. Her voice and her tone was so nice, gentle, caring, full of love, sounds like a mother. Your tone was like, hurry up mom, I’m going out with my friends in ten minutes, clearly an impatient child. My doctor never talks to me like that. LOL 😂
Thank you Susie for creating so many practical videos. This also demonstrates how civilised UK Society is. Elsewhere in the World many governments do not value their citizens, and/or treating them like menace.
yeaaa it really takes a long time waiting for a GP appointment here. i'm still waiting for a GP checkup for a job application as you're not a football fan at all as you have said in a video before, i think you may think of talking about Euro football cup no matter England 🏴 wins or not. it's crucial part of the culture in this country i believe
That’s why. You are so beautiful and your mom is so beautiful and looking so young. Therefore your is a doctor. So both of you are pretty and smart. 👍👍👍
The word "Surgery" has a different meaning in Canada, or USA, usually it means an operation. In Canada or the USA, the word "Clinic" is usually used for a place where people go to see a doctor in the community. Funny how the English words differ in meaning across the Atlantic ocean.

父母的支持让你更加优秀, so nice of both of you.
I love the way your mom speaks - posh, elegant, and very soothing. I can see how she can be a calming presence to freaked out patients.
Thank you Susie and Catherine for the very clear and informative interview, have learnt much more about the NHS system
Greetings from 🇭🇰
Really enjoy your channel. Not many Brits get to explain and teach English from the minds of a Chinese speaker. You are truly one of a kind
Thanks Susie, I just migrated to the UK from Hong Kong, and found your channel introducing the culture in UK. The information introduced by you and your mother are really very useful for new migrants.

Mom seemed getting a various feeling in the beginning, kind of be proud of her daughter
Gold class demonstration of masterful inactivity and the safety netting technique. Can totally see this used in med school’s video masterclass 🙂

Hi Susie, I am tempting to move to Surrey next year. Just wondering do you live near this area???
I enjoy those videos you upload, learn a lot of knowledge, culture & British English
Thank you Susie, it's a very useful vlog.
Excellent your mum is a Medical Doctor. MBBS (UK ) very difficult 😞
Susie where did u learn your Mandarin Chinese from? TBH your verbal Chinese is much better than mine as yours doesn't have much accent. Great stuff!

That’s why. You are so beautiful and your mom is so beautiful and looking so young. Therefore your is a doctor. So both of you are pretty and smart. 👍👍👍
That's exactly my GP doctor told me I don't need antibiotic, I found so difficult to get antibiotic medicine in U.K
You know what? Reading your facial expressions alone is a great lesson in understanding British culture. 😊

ATM, we cross use surgery, operation, all make one sense.
Hi, I am from Hong Kong. The medicare system is quite similar to HK.

It is so good. I like this interview so much. Hope to see another interview with other nurses or dentists.
