Thanks for making this video. You saved me the time from trying the reverse mounting. I have had a Shelf-It in a Jeep Cherokee, but wasn't sure about my F-250. I have ordered one and it will have my FT-891 HF Ham radio mounted on it. Thanks again.
A buddy use used to have one in his lifted truck, which was OK. I grabbed one on marketplace a while back. I was planning to try mounting it in my car, but I'm 6'4", so I need to make sure it's not too low. I just haven't been ambitious enough yet.
As for the VDP shelf, the only one I’m able to find is for the 2000 Ford “econoline”… would this still work with my 2000 f-150 base? Did you get a 1990 f-250 specific shelf?

All the ones I found online are out of stock. I really wish they were available, because I have 5 trucks I could mount them in.

The main complaint about these is how low they are that's why I'm hesitant. I hate when I can't see and feel something before I buy it yaknow
They are a little low and the visors can get in the way
