Great Video, i think it is important to point out the causes of some of these myths. The visible minority of the people that the public see may look or act in a manor that may re-enforce the myths, but judging the entire homeless population based on these peoples behaviours is the same thing as making racist judgements based on one persons actions.

Good points but there is also to consider the fact that pets in shelters mean that vulnerable homeless are subject to crime within the shelter as many of them have already faced, are facing and fear future violence from the drug dealers who have dogs as their own security and are now allowed in most shelters. Much of the budget for the shelters is also siphoned by managers and mid mangers who have sunshine salaries especially in shelters that are run by the local or provincial governments. The mentally ill and vulnerable in shelters are also subject to violence and are serviced with criminals and drug dealers in impossible conditions that have have been publicly cited as having hazardous health and living conditions as well documented and presented by various media which makes the helpless homeless less inclined to risk shelter environments.
