20 mins mine sounded like a fart. But now I've quite got it
I just kept on trying until once or two twice it just happened to sound like the perfect one. Tried to repeat that and now it seems to be proper but not quite the expert sound.

Kill me .. I can't do a good K snare and i am beatboxing for 5 years
Whenever i try learn a sound, i just spend as much time i can make on it, at the beginning i didn't even know how to release the pressure but i kept practising all day long and tried figuring it out by myself and i got how it works.. Now a month later my k snare sounds good (not so good but you know) just keep practising

@@yes-nc4vo No it's not. You can make the exact same sound on the left, right and middle. I can do K snare all 3 ways and they are all the same, but I prefer the middle since I first learned that way

In every rimshot tutorial they say do an inward k and don't breath in but how do I stop myself from breathing in. I try to get a rimshot for two weeks now, and still don't have a clue how to do that

MM 37 Do that at 1:37 and also at the same time, try to drop the back of your tongue so more air comes through and I believe your K snare will be much cleaner.

Okay. Also when you do a K snare, does it come from both sides of your tongue or just one side? When I do a rimshot it's on one side, but it's on both when I do a K snare.
