- The DMK government has proposed to build a pen statue in the Bay of Bengal off the Chennai coast to honour its late leader and former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi. But the plan has been opposed by many in the fishing community and environmental activists.

we want beach to be beach... not anyone's symbol. Chennai itself is symbol of Tamil. we don't want to raise a Tamil Symbol in Tamil Nadu itself. Kalaignar is a great leader. Let us not raise a symbol in public place.

This pen will write the last chapter of DMK power in India.
This is how they first started a memorial for Late DMK leader and Chief Minister Annadurai by burying his mortal remains in Marina beach,..now there are 4 Dravidian leaders who's memorial have been Legally encroached in the marina beach and more to follow in future as well. If this Pen statue is allowed, then the next govt in office will have Jayalalithaa's purse or MGR's Hat as a statute in the deep sea..then we will have something else ridiculous in line with this statue building frenzy making the entire Maria beach a graveyard and a dead leaders Pen, Letter pad and walking stick memorial park.

Instead òf "Pen🖊 statue" why can't you build a "Dam" in the name of Kalaignar. Where it's necessity and needful..It helps to remember your father name more than 1000years, everyone will b happy..without any oppose.!
