Love all the colors you use and how well they work together as well as how good they look on you! Would love to hear sometime on a video (maybe your next pressing chat?) about how you go about choosing colors.
Oh thank you for the suggestion. I will have a think about how to include that. I have several vlogs about colour. My autumn plans also shares my palette plans as this helps me ensure my colours work together x
Loved the vlog, some great go to patterns, it’s amazing how different they all look in different fabrics. My go to patterns were the Summer in New York dress and New Look 6550, only recently tried this pattern, have made three already. I love the Bertha also, I have made two and now thinking about my third one. I also love the Chanterelle pants although I think I need to lengthen them a bit. Haven’t made the Summer in New York in a jersey yet so need to rectify this
I love my Fabric Godmother Peony dress which was made for a wedding, but works for work or a day out in the summer. There will be a winter and another summer version. I have only made one Naya but I wear it a lot and want to try it in woven. Cover ups - loving my Sew Over It Sorrento in light denim and will reach for it a lot next year. I also made a short Megan Nielsen Jarrah which was good on cooler days. I need to revisit your twist dress tutorial - really want to try it! Xx
You in those yellow/mustard Arthur trousers 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤. Seriously I feel like that look you presented in that photo with the shoes and shades was, for me, the first time I’d seen a version of you that fits your personality as we see you on UA-cam. If that makes sense. Love the look
Hi Sam, loved the vlog. Please could you put a link in for your previous sewn Summer In New York dress, I’d like to know more about making it in a knit fabric. Thank you
Hi Sam. I love your Chanterelle pants and the Naya Tee. I have a cloned woven tee pattern that I can use to create something very similar to the Naya so I think I’ll do that next year. I think I’ll buy the chanterelle pattern next year though because I’m not loving the Safiyas nowadays. As usual another great vlog 💞💞

Oh yes you should definitely do it in jersey x
My vote is for the chanterelle pants… I’ve now made two wide leg ones. Perfect!
I've yet to make a wide leg pair and I really should.
