King asked How much is income (revenue) / taxes of our Kingdom. People said Rs.2 Lakhs. Then the King asked my very good PRAJA, WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM THE KING? FREE FOOD, WATER, MARRIAGE GIFT, FREE HOMES, FREE LAND, JOBS IN KING'S COURT TO ALL AND SOMANY. KING SAID OK AND GRANTED ALL OF IT TO ALL. THEN, TWO YEARS LATER ALL PRAJA WENT TO THE KING AND ASKED : RAJA, WE ARE NOT ABLE TO PAY TAXES, WE ARE NOT ABLE TO PAY OR BUY ANY THING THAT IS NOT FREE, NO BUSES TO TRAVEL, NO WATER TO DRINK, NO RICE TO BUY ETC. THEN, KING SAID HE CAN DO NOTHING. People were angry and said they will throw him out of the power. King said, he cannot even if he loses power. THEN, his Minister said he will give more money and food etc. People accepted and mercilessly threw out the King and made the minister KING. REST IS ONLY GUESS. The moral of the story is "Greedy King gives promises, Greedy people give (gift) the power". Example: Guarantee card of GandhiVadra in NATAKA AND TELANGANA.
