Actually, Rodgers and Hammerstein wrote the musical back in 1957 and it aired on TV starring Julie Andrews as Cinderella. It aired again in 1965 with Leslie Ann Warren playing the part, and only later, in 1997, did it star Brandy. So they didn't steal the song. It goes waaaaay back.

I hate to be a troll, but I find it amusing how many people "need the lyrics to the song because they 'have' to sing it" for something.
Is the distinction necessary? Especially when its hard to believe you? You are not the first gaijin to sing in japanese (or try).
