Here is the detailed service review of Ford Freestyle, 1.2Ltr Petrol, after 3 years or 30K Kms. Service Center didn't allow me to make videos in the premises after asking for permission... So I had to make this video sitting inside home (But no hard feelings for them... they are already doing a good job). @@AmitSawantOfficial hello sir, I had watched your earlier video of average test of freestyle, it was a good informational video.
I'm a newbie to driving, I had learnt to drive through a driving school while I applied for license last year. To keep my driving practice active & not loose confidence in driving I was thinking to buy a used car. Once I'm perfect with driving I might use it for weekend short trips, by usage will be less and mostly intercity through highways.
ALmost all the auto enthusiast have praises for Ford freestlye, sadly it is one of the most underrated cars in recent times. I prefer more of a sedate driving but hearing such good opinions I would love to have a freestyle (petrol).
My city is very close to the Goa borders, hence most of the people from our city buy used cars from Goa as they are mainained well and are available for better price compared to the Karnataka state price. Most of the cars which I have listed below are from Goa except the Brio which is Karnataka registered.
I had shortlisted some of the options considering the prices of used car in Karnataka. Even a used wagonr 2013 model would cost 2.50 lakhs minimum
1. Grand i10 2014 asta optional (airbags & abs) second owner 65000 km driven with proper service history record and well maintained. Price quoted is Rs 3.20L but I think it would be negotiable for 2.8 or 2.9L. This car is available within 10 km of my city.
2. Honda Jazz 2016 V MT second owner 62000 km driven well maintained. Price quoted is Rs 4.20L
3. Ford freestyle titanium petrol 2018 second owner 53000 km driven. First ower was a doctor and had driven 45000 km. Service history is maintained and price quoted is Rs 3.80 L
4. Honda Brio V MT 2014 second owner 68000 km driven, proper service history is maintained but body work (denting & painting) has been done thrice through Honda. Work is done on running board, right side fender etc. I enquired with Honda service center and they say that all these were minor works of denting & painting and no major accidental work has been done. Price quoted is Rs 3.25 L
5. Hyundai 2012 Magna i10 second owner 72000 km driven price quoted is Rs 2 L
Please do suggest me whether I should go for the freestlye or any other options. Also please feel free to suggest other cars as well based on my requirement.
@@vaibhav_naik Well Thank you so much for watching the video. I tried my best to give factual information about Freestyle Petrol mileage.
As far as the info you shared, I get to understand few things that your driving style will be normal & your car will travel through the cities most of the time once or twice a week (So no issue with the mileage because of less travel)
I would suggest you FS any time over Hyundai & Honda (as both have less mileage & costly maintenance) but FS 2018 is BS4 model & mileage for the car is lesser compare to BS6 petrol version (mine is bs6). If you are really interested in FS then search for the Ford Service first. Take a review then decide. Try to negotiate more to 3.50 L.
Just remember one important thing, Ford is no more in India & not sure about future (as we heard about Ford entry in Indian market again with EVs but not yet confirmed) so for major service or major part replacements it takes time but for normal service & maintenance it's very good & much cheaper than rest of the brands (just be a conscious customer).

When I asked about mileage to the current owner of freestyle petrol he said that it's about 13.8 km/litre in the city and 14.5-15 km/litre in highway conditions.
I am guessing these are meter display readings and not the tank to tank method reading.
Regarding the Ford service center, it's about 70km away from my city. I need to travel to Verna for the service. Else the other option that Ford offers is service camps. I have heard that Ford conducts service camps in our city once in 3-6 months where general service is done.
The service centres which are very near in my city are Hyundai & Maruti Suzuki (both are within 10-15 km). Tata is around 30km away.
Even the Honda service center is 70 km away (in Verna)
In our locality there is a person who owns a Freestyle. I might have to ask him about the service related query to be sure about it.
@@vaibhav_naik 1. Yes that's what I am telling you that bs4 has slight low mileage than bs6 in petrol FS but that's too depend on how you drive & the traffic condition. I am getting 13-14kmpl mileage in heavy Mumbai city traffic & 17-18+kmpl on highways... even crossed 19 on Pune Expressway.
2. See... generally you need to go to the Service Center once in a year for general service. So lot depends on how your SC provides you service... if they are prompt enough then no need to worry about it. Even I used to go SC myself to see whether they are doing it properly or not... even if my SC provides me best service... (need to spare a day for your Car Service). If they are conducting Service Camps then feel comfortable as they offers discounts too on certain parts or services.
If you don't want slightest of headache then it's better to go with Maruti Suzuki than Hyundai & Honda.
Plz talk to that FS owner & enquire about the service. I am sure he will help you to decide.

Oh no... I was also searching for it too when the car was new... But I think it's a little costly... around 2500/- & quality isn't that good. I even searched in the Service Center but it wasn't available. So I didn't search for it.

@@rohitalam4893 deal to sahi hai lekin BS4 petrol engine ka mileage thodasa kam hai. Lekin agar running kam hai to koi issue nahi. Baki deal aur gadi dono badhiya hai.

@@rohitalam4893 dekho, major parts hai to sabhi company ke gadiyon ke almost same rates hote hai. Ford mein khali thoda time lag sakta hai parts ki delivery mein but that depends on how your SC handles it. Baki normal regular parts aram se available hote hai SC mein.
Lekin acchi baat ye hai ki periodic service abhi bhi sabse sasti hai jo humein saal mein ek baar karni padti hai (without extra requirement) & you will find tentative service amount on Ford India site as well sirf extra add ons dalte hai service mein kuch SCs to unse bachna nahi to costing faltu ki badhegi (normally aisa nahi karte hai most of the Ford SCs as per my experience but it's better to take precautions)

Yes, you can go for it for 4 lacs. Service is very good in tier 1 cities... Absolutely no issues.
Normal Spare parts are available but it can be a time taking process in major issues. So make an enquiry about Ford Service in your city & then enjoy it.
If FS is in good condition... no doubt you will enjoy it.

1. History check kar lijiye Service Center se... Waise Ford owners properly maintain karte hai gadi ko... Lekin fir bhi check karna important hai.
2. Gadi aap khud chalake bhi dekhiye to aap ko pata chalega ki aap comfortable ho ya nahi.
3. Clutch dekh lijiye hard hua hai kya? Kyonki Ford ke Diesel gadi ka clutch hard hota hai. Agar aap city traffic mein roz chalate ho to aapko taklif dega.
4. Body damage dekh lijiye ya SC mein aisi koi history hai kya wo dekh lijiye.
Agar ye sab sahi hai aur aap fully satisfied hai to wait mat kijiye... Aisa mauka baar baar nahi aata... All The Best Sir & Happy Motoring 👍🏻

Ford ne quit karte samay 5 yrs ke liye parts ke prices na badhane ka announcement kiya tha aur wo abhi tak to sahi hai. Ha bade parts ke liye thoda wait karna padta hai ye bhi sahi hai... Lekin jo roj ke use honewale parts to aram se mil jate hai SC mein.
10 yrs ke liye Service Promise to hai yane ke 2030-31 aap bol sakte hai.
Aur aisi confirm news bhi hai market mein ki Ford India mein comeback kar rahi hai... Let's hope for the best.

Yes it's a good car... 5 lac is a good budget... Try to bargain atleast 4.5 lacs. Maintenance cost will be around 6-7k for Diesel.
Another Car recommendation is obviously Freestyle if you want to stick to Ford... More Practical than Aspire & Figo as per Indian Road conditions & safety features.
With 1.5 Ltr Diesel engine.... It's a rocket... Make sure it's BS4 if you are driving on City roads but if your running mostly on highways then BS6 is also good (just because of DPF concerns).
@@AmitSawantOfficial thank You so much Amit bhai .. freestyle I am getting 2019 disel 6.20 7k driven but I think aspire is around 4.8 lacs so major difference in pricing aspire is 30k driven and freestyle is 8k drived freestyle is quoting around 7 lacs I will negotiate till 6 he will not give below that .. and both are 2019 models so aspire seems good to me I think I can fill up 1.2 lacs disel in aspire in remain g amount lets seee
Yes for Freestyle... Asking price is a little high because of low running.... 7k is nothing for a Ford diesel engine. It's as good as new.
Is it Titanium + variant? If it is then 5.8 lacs will be a good amount. But the choice matters.
Both Cars have different behaviour because of the ground clearance but come with the same DNA & both provide excellent driving dynamics plus a major difference is a Boot Space... That's too a personal choice 😊
