Once all the infrastructure is in place, the plan to have a pay by the mile charge will be instigated, as well as 15 minute city corralling. Freedom of movement is being eviscerated for all except the extremely rich. The environmental cost of creating & disposing of all those electric vehicle electric batteries is WAY more polluting than that caused by petrol cars. Housing in London is also expensive, which is the biggest concern of most people. Reducing the cost to make it more affordable requires building more homes. His "tax on the poor" - assuming you are referring to ULEZ - will also save thousands of (mostly poor) lives, and City Hall will pay any Londoner with a non-compliant car enough to replace it. It's a tax on polluters. Being poor isn't an excuse to pollute the air and mess everyone else's health up, especially in a city like London with such affordable public transport as the buses with hopper fare!

This is nonsense, crime is not 'ridiculous'. There was one more homicide in London last year compared to the year he was elected, and London's population has grown proportionally far more than that. Crime has been rising nationwide - it is primarily a responsibility of central government, who has repeatedly cut police funding (while Khan did the opposite).
Agree. I’m not voting Labour nationally but am definitely voting for Sadiq in London. The alternatives are absolutely dire! Though he shouldn’t have expanded ULEZ to outer boroughs that was a mistake to do it so quickly- lots of people are upset about that and much like voting for Boris just because of Brexit, in London people shouldn’t vote based just on 1 issue. Housing in London is also expensive, which is the biggest concern of most people. Reducing the cost to make it more affordable requires building more homes. His "tax on the poor" - assuming you are referring to ULEZ - will also save thousands of (mostly poor) lives, and City Hall will pay any Londoner with a non-compliant car enough to replace it. It's a tax on polluters. Being poor isn't an excuse to pollute the air and mess everyone else's health up, especially in a city like London with such affordable public transport as the buses with hopper fare!
