Boudin is not pronounced boo·din, no matter what the internet might think. Cajuns actually pronounce it boo·dahh. Really glad to see you bring up DeanO's and would like to mention that there is actually two of them. DeanO's South offers the exact menu. A few other places people should check out include The Cajun Table (Cajun), Pour (an American style Bar & Grill with Cajun flair), Ruffino's On The River (Italian), Rachael's Cafe (casual seafood), The Ground Pat'i (if you want a burger), Nhi Taste of Asia (Asian fusion), Marcello's (Sicilian, though they advertise as Italian), Social Southern Table & Bar (Southern), Blu Basil (Vietnamese), Drago's (Seafood), Masala Indian Kitchen (Indian), Mazen Grill (Continental), and Poseidon's (Greek). A few special shout outs. Cafe' Vermilionville is one of the best Fine Dining places in the area. Hub City Diner for those who want classic diner food with a Cajun twist. Kartchner’s in Lafayette and Don's Specialty Meats are not restaurants but they do have the best boudin and Cajun specialty meats in the area so are good to pick up something.
@@1010QUEEN7 If you get down to Ville Platte, they have some really good boudin there. Teet's Food Store and Paul's Meat Market both make classic style, while B&S Grocery (Bobby & Sue) makes theirs with chicken giblets so it has a milder liver flavor. For people out of state, Teet's ships. I actually ordered from them when I was deployed in Afghan.

I think its an Ai narrator on this video.
The Food in Lafayette is better than the Food in New Orleans 😋😋
Staaaahp it
Different types of food. Depends on what you favor. I don’t like comparing creole and cajun food. I prefer Cajun, but I know some who prefer creole.
By far!
Prejean's was once one of the best places to eat in Lafayette, until they butchered their menu, dropping many of their best dishes 🤨
Shrimps?
Bad video....sounds like an AI video bot made it
No mention of Prejean's or Poches? I question the validity of this list.
Chimes is by for one good down home restaurant. Amazing Cajun Cusine
10 by for
Have you even been to Lafayette? Worst video ever!!!
Obviously not because this make no sense to me
I’m interested in hearing your top 10 picks… but I’m in agreement with y’all.
I eat at Don’s Seafood often and the food in video does not do it justice. The actual food at Don’s looks much better than what was shown!
Ummm. Almost every thing in this is not accurate. Lol
This whole AI thing is pretty sterile. This video sucked.
