It’s tru everytime I hear this song I think of a cyberpunk dystopia. Not necessarily Akira but akira especially Life is so boring. I sometimes listen to this song and imagine I’m in an entirely different cyberpunk world where the sky is made out of steal and the sun and stars are neon that paint the back roads.
I've read Akira for the first time while listening to the album of Tear For Fears "Song from the big chair" which features this song. It's Incredible how this edit and the music brought back the exact same vibe that i felt when i first read akira. Keep on doing amazing edit !

this is amazing. definitely one of my favorite AMVs made this year 👏👏👏
I really like your editing style, it's unique and interesting, my favorite is still Everybody Wants to Rule the World, but this one is definitely awesome.
De los mejores AMV que he visto, la canción le queda como anillo al dedo, ese tipo de armonía asiática futurística que tiene la canción encaja con la atmosfera de la película.
Imagine how annoyed the people In neo Tokyo must be. Like Tokyo was destroyed once already and then like 20 years later it’s obliterated again. Imagine all the money that’s it’s take to repair everything and all that labour and resources omfg.
The entire world did at the end of Watchmen. Every major city across the globe was simultaneously struck by an AKIRA-sized explosion set off by containing and weaponizing just a fraction of Dr. Manhattan’s power. That happened in the winter of ‘85. By 1987, a majority of the cities were rebuilt (and built back better.)
THIS IS A MASTERPIECE 😭😭😭 THIS SONG SUCH MATCH TO AKIRA 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I feel like Akira really evokes the feelings this song paints.

Its a different English dub to what i watch, but its still AKIRA
now i want an EBM remix featuring that “the city’s starting to crumble apart… covered by a big shadow” part as a sample 💀

I think after that huge explosion it would be impossible to repair the whole city of New Tokyo
