someone commented on my Suzuya Video to draw Kaneki, here it is (I kinda messed up his hair...ehm sry) - Kaneki Ken from Tokyo Ghoul.
love this anime ^^ my friend told me to watch it and I started watching it.... couldn't stop :O (season 2 was awesome too)

hmmmm maybe if you don't press really hard (try to draw it lightly) you should try it out on copy paper or so ^-^ cause I never tried charcoal that much..

Jennifer King The anime is fine if you forget that they rushed it up and missed lots of details from the manga. The manga puts the anime to shame.

what colours are you using for the mask? it amazes me how the black turns out
+Claudia Vaarsi I used the black colored pencil from faber castell grip, for blending I used a dark grey color and after I did that....I took a black roller ball pen to smooth the darkest part (and blended with my fingers/piece of tissue) :))

woah can't really remember...
maybe 1 hour for the sketch and for the colouring 5 hours or more...... something like that xD

KOH-I-NOOR Polycolor pencils (72 pencils) --> main pencils :)
Faber castell grip pencil
and SAX colored pencils (from Hofer)
lineart: Pilot Hi-Tecpoint v5
and black drawing ink from pelikan
I use paper from "Dürer Hase- Zeichenblock"

How do you blend?
Sebastian Michaelis start with the lightest color ^^
then take this color again and start to shade and then take a darker colored pencil to shade.
and after that you can take the lighter colored pencil again and "combine" them together :)

So, to recap. I would take the lightest color, and just fill it all in lightly. Then, id take the darkest color and go over the lighter color?
