Yet another great video!!🤩 if possible, could you please do a video on internships and reaching out to college professors for research opportunities? thank you for all you do
I am confused as to where to put the many piano awards that I won at the international, national, and state-level on the common app or in the music resume when some colleges ask for music resumes while some don’t. Yale does not ask for a music resume. So should I create two versions of the common app??
For colleges that don't ask for a music resume, you can use the additional information section of the Common App. I shared a couple of examples in this video: ua-cam.com/video/6PvT9cC_AQE/v-deo.html
Thank you for the video! Also, could you give me examples of any high school flute competitions you did? I'm a freshman in high school, and I spend much of my time practicing clarinet, but I can't find any competitions or awards

extracurriculars are the variety of activities you've participated in (i.e. sports teams, clubs, internships, etc.) and honors would be the awards/accolades you've received within those extracurriculars or competitions
Hello and thanks for your great video. I like neoroscience very much , and because of my circumstances, I didn't have this opportunity to do research or even attending to webinars in high school, but now I have finished my high school and I am attending in webinars with great professors, and I found an opportunity to have my own session to present an article and also I am a researcher and I have TTC certificate and I taught English to a kid for several weeks in an institution and I think I can use it as an internship, I want to know that are these courses and webinars matter? I have a website that I am helping students who have some problems , are these activities good? I found an opportunity to enroll in a association as a high school student in the neuroscience field and work in a research group but unfortunately when I start my activities the apply time would be finished , can I say it too? Are my activities good for ivies? I have 3.91 gpa too and just one c. Thanks for your responding I really need to know the answers
If the college asks for it, then go for it. Don't submit a resume if they don't ask for it. You can find a resume template here: www.mycollegelead.com/downloads-1
Would getting accepted into a selective STEM mentorship program count? I applied for a program that Regeneron is holding where selected students will conduct scientific research under a mentor, does that count as an honors?

Of course and yes, I'll add that to my list. Thanks for the suggestion!

Would a solo at Carnegie Hall be considered an honor?
what types of honors can i do?
Do research publications in journals count as honors?
do they
How would colleges even verify these if they are like out-of-school things such as dance academy???
What about deans and honors list. Is that under grade based category?
Hey I am an applicant from India and here honor societies and clubs aren't a thing in school. What awards should I include?

What is the difference between honors and extracurriculars

College Lead do u think writing a resume is a good idea

If it's actually selective I feel like that would go under extracurriculars but it's certainly a good one
