We adopted a little black on eyed cat when we bought our first home, called McIntosh (or Macca as we call him)...... The three years later we were clearing out loads of crap from the spare room and we found his registration papers and his name was Merlin! THREE YEARS we had been calling him the wrong name 😂😂😂 we shouted ‘Merlin?!’ & he absolutely bolted up the stairs and was purring his head off. Poor lad 😂
you all prolly dont give a shit but does anyone know a tool to get back into an instagram account..? I stupidly lost my account password. I would love any tricks you can give me
@Quinn Karson Thanks so much for your reply. I found the site on google and im in the hacking process now. Takes a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Put butter on his paws when he goes out the first time! They spend time licking it off and he'll get used to the smells of the garden ☺️ best cat advice I've ever been given
Also, keep Edgar in for four weeks and then put butter on his paws the first time you do let him out. That way he will sit in the garden and lick his paws for a while which will give him time to acclimatise to the garden
It’s so nice that Carrie and Olly are having the same issue with Edgar that I have with my cat. The constant meowing in the morning and leaving food in the bowl !! We still love them to bits !!
If you find out what causes it please share. My sister has adopted 2 cats with trauma backgrounds and one howls at 4am every day. She's so loving but can't figure out why.
@@Kirsty-tz2cx I think cats just do it? My cats were rescued as small kittens. My orange boy, Toulouse, will whine and whine and whine in the morning cause his bowl is "empty" and they'll both whine at dinner because that's when I give them their wet food
@@Thalymor do they do it when they have food in the bowl? My sister gets up and feeds them but the female still carries on so my sister was just a bit worried she wanted something and they couldn't figure out what.
@@fletcher7580 it really is but also because its in the grounds of the hotel you park up then have to walk through the woods to get to it because you cant see it from the road/car park its an experience i will say especially because it has string lights all over as well
A tip for Edgar and any other kitties out there, get him a very wide bowl (or a plate!), like wider than his head with his whiskers. cats dont like their whiskers to touch the sides of the bowl, so once there is less food than they can comfortably reach they meow for more food. Always had this problem with my cats until I saw that tip and now they eat all the food in their bigger bowls. Also, cats prefer to have their food away from their water dish, its another instinct. He will enjoy drinking water more if they are in different places.
I just wanted to say as soon as Oli said that he cast sat for cats named Millie and Merlin my heart jumped a little because those are the names of my two family cats. And it just made me happy to hear. Also the videos!
I recently noticed the lyric change from in On My Own "a world that's full of happiness that I have never known" (ie Marius's world) to "the world is full of happiness that I have never known" and I think Marius represents an entire way of life that is beyond her reach rather than much about him specifically, if that makes sense - she doesn't really meet anyone else in the show who is kind to her and values her, except Gavroche (are they related in the show?)
In the book, Gavroche is Eponine's younger brother but Mr. and Mrs. Thernandier (their parents) are poor, so they either just kick Gavroche out, of sell him, I don't remember. So they don't grow up together.
We have moved twice with our cat Opus each time kept him in for 2 weeks, then started taking him I to the back garden on a cat collar and lead. Did this for a couple if weeks then started to let him out there on his own but only for a short while each time and built it up gradually. We have never had a problem with him coming back. Edgar will know he is in a good place and I'm sure he will come back. xxx
Interesting you talking your experience as a first cover - I don’t think I’ve ever been to a performance where a cover went on and I was disappointed with the performance, I think everyone is so incredibly talented in the West End/Broadway that what you end up seeing in covers is the younger, less well-established but just as talented actors (which people might be paying bucketloads to see in the future!)
@@aliceb8204 I stand corrected! I just watched the compilation of all the don'ts and it came up and it all came back to me when I listened I smiled as they FINALLY did it after it being in my head for ages😅

All of the cats I've had growning up have gone out one day and never returned so if I was to get cats now I would keep them as house cats like my sister does, I can't risk it.
Sleepy Edgar, hes seems a lovely cat, theres so many actors and actresses that take over someone who originated the role or different versions or west end and Broadway are different people playing the same role, i dont see how its different, carrie is great in the role from the videos I've seen as she was off when I went so had Olivia Moore who was also great! I love how Ollie says rum tum tugger come meet my cat haha
I've unfortunately had some accidents/events with letting my cats outside, with both of them passing away. I then decided that my cats now will be house only cats. They do not seem to care at all. I would say that if you prefer him not to go out, I'm sure eventually he wont care either. Especially if your house is largish and have plenty of activities for him. Plus since he was a stray, the wildlife will be at higher risk because he will be used to stalking them. Your choice of course, just letting you know my experience.
Aw my first cat was called merlin😊 she (yes it turns out she was a girl but she was used to her name) was the only cat we intended on getting. We then got pickles who had found his way into our kitchen, but his owners said we could have him as he was blind and lived by a busy road, then lily who lived in a green house before we got her, then hagrid who my sister found in the shed with his brother when they were kittens, but his brother didn’t like the house cat life I guess an ran away. Pretty much all our cats were strays like Edgar😂
My cats both have a cat flap which only opens for their chip and one of them has a feeder that opens to her chip. It's because the other would eat hers otherwise 😂
I 100% know that I am none of these characters but I actually learned and took something away from this video as general advice but because it’s theatre related it’s even better and Im Sure I can’t be the only one...🙈
I cat sat a long time ago for a work colleague who lived near me when they went on holiday, the day before they came home the cat got run over and died. I buried him in their back garden with a plant on top. It was awful having to tell them...... they never asked me back to cat sit their new cat 🤔
The microchip cat flap is way better because if he looses his collar while out he can't get in. If hes anything like my boy hell lose mutiple collars 😂
My cat won't eat anything fish like. He will eat all the meaty ones but nothing to do with fish 🤣🤦🏼♀️ also I didn't really have a choice with my cat and letting him out as he escaped on the day we were gonna take him to the vet to be neutered 🤣 he was fine and came back but I have never been so scared or worried in my life 🤣
I don’t believe in letting cat’s roam. My cat’s have lived inside since I rescued them from the pound 3 years ago. They are happy healthy cat’s. So you might consider that for Edgar.
If I was a cat, roaming would be my favorite thing to do. It really depends on the cat; some might like their independence, while others might like to stay inside. It seems to me that the most important thing is that they're happy and taken care of, which would be easier to do if you could keep an eye on the cat, but which could also mean giving the cat fresh air and freedom.
Yeah. It's not about whether or not the cat's "happy" about it either, it's a health and safety issue. For the cats, there are parasites, diseases, wildlife, cars, and other hazards that lead to shorter lifespans. Cats themselves are terrible for the ecosystems they predate - they're well known for the harm they do to bird populations.
AlthenaLuna I totally agree, I only mentioned the cat’s ability to live a happy life indoors as some people believe that cat’s are only happy if they have access to the outside world, and that it’s cruel to keep cat’s inside all the time. So thanks for expanding on the good reasons to keep cat’s indoors.😊
God I wouldn’t be able to keep my cat inside. Her fave time to go outside is at the evening. I think because it’s dark and she likes to think she can’t be seen! there’s no way I’d be able to keep her in. She’s so vocal she’d do our head in!
