I painted a poinsettia today and the moment you created that gorgeous patterned soap, I also thought that it would be perfect for it, just like you! I hope you'll give that a try.
I really like that like breakdown/overview you did that the beginning of the video! I loved hearing what scent and colors you were gonna use and about the process even before we saw you working
I love your soaps so much! I bought a bar of soap a few years back and I fell in love, sadly I told myself I had to use all my other bars of soap before I get more (and I have so many soaps) but we are getting there!
If anyone wants a slower mixing soap batter, consider using a decent percentage of lard. Obviously not if you avoid pork for whatever reason, but otherwise it makes a lovely, slow to thicken soap with a smooth, creamy lather. Only issue I've had with it is that it can take several days to fully set up in the mould if the weather is cold and damp.
If you try with too thin of a batter, it doesn’t work well. I made on with 4 colors and poured it too thin. The lines were not defined enough. And I’ll probably take practice to find out what works for your soap recipe
It's been a hot minute since I made any soap but I still have some white melting pour from Amazon in my kitchen I need to cut off some of that and start putting it back in the molds with some of the sense and I've got some really nice fragrances and I don't have any particular soap dye I usually just use a few drops of food coloring to make pastels though I have tried to make things darker and when I take a shower with those the water definitely turns colors
@@brandibastian4193 crayons use mineral pigments. I looked it up to make sure before i spoke wrong. There are a few tutorials and stuff online and crayons are pretty cheap.
Really weird thing to point out but as a Brit, I've never heard Americans call cling film... well cling film. That's what we call it, but I've only ever heard people from America call it either Saran Wrap (spelling? I can't be bothered to check) or plastic wrap. Maybe a Texas thing?
Hi Katie! Beautiful soap as always! This is super random but do you know Tigga Mac? (she’s Aussie and she makes the most awesome cakes!). I think the two of you look so similar! 😂
IM REAAALY NEED HELP .!!!!! SO I MADE OATMEAL SOAP ,LET IT SIT FOR ABOUT 4 DAYS WITH AIR & I HEAT WRAPPED IN PLASTIC SHOULD I LET SIT UN WRAPPED DURING THE CURING PROCESS ??
I feel like with that shade of orange and that white with it being in the squared off mold I'm like that is clearly cheese but with the round mold with the pretty designs I'm like oh that's got to be a creamsicle soap play the sentence does not match cuz I believe the things said it's three types of fruit I believe like a mango, raspberry and a lemon or something
Instead of an expensive clear mold a lined PVC pipe or A lined Pringle's chips container works equally well. The top metal things are called Wing nuts where I come from.
Hii! Love your videos, but just wondering, could you do another ASMR or soft talking video? Cause it seemed like a lot of people liked it and i did too!
Have you ever considered using an inside voice? Are you a middle child? Did you have to talk extra loud to get attention? Don't you watch your videos? Can't you hear how loudly you're talking?
Great job, Katie. I've seen other soapers do it and it seems as though a slightly thicker batter gives more definition in the soap bars.
Her soap was very thick.....it needs to be thinner!
Forbidden orange slices 🧡
that was my exact line of thought too 😆
It's giving that one shirt Ari wore in class of 09
Cute little orange/citrus slices!!
I have always used a funnel to keep my pour in the center.

Some neons and black would be so fun!
I used to make soap years ago and was a pvc tube girly who used soup cans to push the soap out. This contraption makes me wanna make soap again!
Oooo bedtime soap video for me and my baba to watch. (9pm here in uk)
My son and I ❤ watching soap videos to relax
9:26 oh that's fun, it's like a wood planer, but for soap lol
This is so nice for being in bed sick. Thanks for posting!
Hope you feel better soon!
Hope you get to feeling better soon!
I love your excitement for your craft. It never fails to put a smile on my face ❤

Orange Creamsicles! Now I really want one, like those Flintstone push pops.
The catapilar cutter is my jam!❤ Take my money!! 😂
Wing nuts. What a cool mold, lovely result
I love kaleidoscope soaps, they are so pretty 🥰 Please make more videos making them 💕
Absolutely stunning! Love the pastel orange!
The patterns are stunning! It is wild how different and unique each one is! 🧡
So beautiful. I'd love to see more of these kaleidosoaps.
This is my favorite mold I own. Totally worth it.
That looks delicious in so many ways!!!
I've had the link saved for that mold for the last few weeks, and I can't wait to buy it. I'm planning my Easter soaps and candles now around that.
All i could think when ypu were using the catepillar cutter was how much the soap looked like colby jack cheese... and now Im hungry 😂😂
That’s a very cool slab cutter. You could use this for rimmed edge soap.

These turned out so cool! (And also made me want an orange creme scoop of ice cream.)
I ask this every time.. Please PLEASE make a clean cotton smelling soap.. That was my first soap I ever bought from you, and it is still my favorite
Adds to cart .
❤❤❤I love my catapiller cutter.

That was actually cool
At first I thought you meant the other kind of mold, and was momentarilumy terrified by the [purely hypothetical] notion of mold that can grow on soap
Before i got into the video i swore that mold was one of those bank drive through tube thingies 😂
❤❤❤Your videos

נפלא🎉🥰 תודה!!❣️האם לדעתך המכשיר חיתוך והתבנית יכולים להתאים גם לסבונים מסוג 'המס ומזוג'??🙏🏼🤔
Definitely!
8 minutes...my best time 😂
My niece walked by and goes 'I thought she made soap? That looks like colby jack cheese-' and I had to explain it was just a round mold that you used-
WOW ✨
I thought you made a kaleidoscope out of soap mould and I was so ready for a weird craft and the science of moulding soap...
they remind me of those creamsicle ice cream bars or orange cream fudge, anyway i would be tempted to eat this soap i fear.
Paleeese do tyus with rainbow!!!!
Cool beans!
Like, shared and commenting.... Hugs from Esquimalt 🎉

You can use crayons. I checked online before i posted and there are videos on how to. Hope it helps.
@candihartley that is for candles

If you did red and white and you twisted that centre pull bit as you pulled it up would it look like a candy cane? 🤔
did anyone else get marble cheese vibes from the rectangle soap? lol looks delicious
can you only use 2 colours or can you use more ?
You can use more!
Will the cylinder mold work with melt and pour?
How are you only discovering this now?

Oh and the soap is beautiful
You’re right, most Americans say plastic wrap or Saran Wrap but I have watched too much of the Great British Baking Show sooooooo 😂🙈

it looka like a log of colby jack before you cut it. charcuterie line when?
It took me 1.5 minutes to realize you were saying kaleidoSOAP and not mispronouncing kaleidoscope 😅
Same! 😂
Same haha
Was this one sponsored?
Your total oil + 3% sodium lactate? Or 97% the oils and 3% is sodium lactate instead?
The first option!!
If the loaf soap was a burgundy instead of the yellowish color I would have thought you were cutting bacon... Just a idea... Hint hint
if that soap doesn't smell like a creamsicle I will be so sad.
It’s mango sorbet😢
Am I the first one to watch!?!?❤
Lucky!
Looks like marbled cheese, Hehe!
So early!
.... Not my fat self looking at the block at the end like CHEEEESE
The left over soap is giving salmon l

Don't mean to nitpick but please don't use the word poinsettia for that plant. 😅 Use the Aztec word for it instead Cuetlaxochitl
she is speaking in English, nothing wrong with using the English name hen speaking English
