Really nice setup. Have got to get that sweet manual transfer switch. At the moment I don’t have enough batteries so set my priority to charging batteries with the solar. I have about 7k in solar, sungold IP6048 rated for 7500watts and two of the sungold power walls
did you get an overbussbar error on the inverter when you didnt have an exterior bussbar for your batteries? I hooked up my system and i series paralelled 12v bateries into a 48v pack. It it comes in at 53v but as soon as i connect the AC i get this overvoltage buss bar programming error, 08. For the life of me i cant figure out what is wrong
Thank you for this. I am thinking of getting a system like this, although I would have two inverters and 6 batteries total. I want to have my batteries stacked on top of one another instead of side by side-- if that is feasible. Will have to make sure there is space for that, of course. Do you have any links to purchase the bus bar? Any link to the breaker from signature solar? I have zero experience with solar but I'm sick of my power company having outages and not restoring power in a timely fashion- plus they just doubled the rates bc the new CEO gave himself a huge raise. Can this system be installed inside a house or is that a bad idea? I have a metal shed outside and I can probably put up a small plastic shed if push comes to shove. I have central AC that I think is 1HP. Got 1/2HP jet pump, another 1/2HP pump to pull water to the cistern, microwave, pressure cookers, air fryer, washing machine, dryer, upright freezer, two fridges, plus a workshop with tablesaw, miter saw, band saw, planer, etc. We have a dishwasher but we never use it. Also have 2 TVs, 3 computers, 3 laptops, etc. Oh, and 50 gallon water heater. Link to manual transfer switches please? I know, I'm asking for a lot of links. LOL. Sungold has a package for a 20kw (the two 10kw inverters). Mostly I want to be able to have power when my power company craps out on me. Thank you for this video. I found this from your post on the diysolar forums that I just joined.
Is this the same inverter as the SRNE asp but with a different screen location? I know multiple companies rebrand them and sungoldpower had a previous gen. that I believe was the same as the SRNE asp. The reason I ask is that this unit is the best price of all the asp rebrands for a short time and want to try it out if it is indeed the same. Thanks for the video!
Do they have any issues with light flickering? The 6548 are notorious for that!! And thats my biggest gripe for my Sp6548. To the point to where I want to upgrade. Thanks again for the videos!!!!
No flickering that I really notice. I've heard some systems have that problem. These 10k's a pretty neat and the 3rd generations can now parallel! Wish i had that
Hello, I setup the SPH10048P about a month ago along with 4 rack mount batteries. I do experience lights flickering. I am currently working with sungoldpower to resolve the issue.
@@gr8icu Not at all. It takes at least a day to get a response from support and then they want needless info on the brand of LED lights. They also want videos of you using a multi meter and inverter settings. They did send a firmware update that helped with other more serious issues. I will probably purchase a better inverter in the future.
I did notice my bathroom over cabinet LEDs sometimes flicker a bit, I got on Amazon and ordered a more expensive LED bulb and it doesn’t do it. If the LED has a small cheap resistor it won’t smooth the signal enough, try to replace some bulbs
They aren't copying that brand at all. They cater to the DIY side much more and charge reasonable prices with ZERO shipping and added taxes. But you are free to bellyache all you like.
Those are the sexiest wire layout... Congrats
Thanks buddy
Really helpful with the solar assistant
What forum do you contribute to regarding SunGold Inverters?
diysolarforum.com/
Can you let me know what inverter you selected when setting up solar assistant?
USB Type B printer cable to inverter, use the ‘SRNE’ selection in Solar Assistant device setup
@@PaintSlinger99 Thank you. That's what I chose and It's been doing a great job.
@@larryd.9245 Great buddy glad it worked out
What are the costs of the inverters and batteries?
Go to Sungold Power website and look around, no sales right now so I’d wait for sales
i would put inverter in middle
Great video man. Thanks for sharing.
Great job done, boss. I love your setup ❤❤❤
