People felt secured while being slaves is a bit weak point because the why Hazrat Wahshi was desperate to get out of slavery. In Islam To free an enslaved person is highly rewarding. There is no reward in enslaving a free human rather it is forbidden. How in the world Islam promotes slavery?

People felt secured while being slaves is a bit weak point because the why Hazrat Wahshi was desperate to get out of slavery. Then why its a punishment for a Muslim to free a slave if he failed to fast.

The reply is informative but you missed one important point. There are things Allah and Prophet SAW established as compulsory based on correct creed like Salah, fasting, zakah and pilgrimage, and other commandments. There are things that Allah abolished in the Quran and through Prophet SAW till the end of his mission. Then there are things he regulated with retained amid restrictions. Allah uplifted the status of women but never made them absolutely equal to men in family authority and political rights. Similarly, he encouraged charity but never abolished private savings and property. The same goes for so-called "slavery" that was restricted to POWs, as you correctly pointed out. However, did this reflect Allah's will to eliminate slavery? Is the same as saying that restricting private property eventually reflected Allah's will to eventually eliminate it as claimed by the so-called "Islamic socialists". It is the same as saying when Prophet SAW uplifted women from a lower level closer to men in property rights and protections in marriage, his ultimate objective was to make her absolutely equal with men in inheritance, divorce, authority in the house, and political rights, abolishing polygamy, etc. as claimed by feminists. Had the Prophet really aimed to abolish property rights, establish absolute gender equality, and institution so-called "slavery," then he would have done it in Final Hajj very vocally and without any ambiguity. All Fardh, Haram, and Halal have clearly been established in the Quran and Sunnah, and they cannot be changed till Qiyamah. All companions continued to take slaves afterward, and this tradition was followed by Arab and Turkish Muslim empires without any remorse or confusion. No scholar during these times ever pointed out that war-captive "slavery" was meant to be abolished. Therefore, criticizing the Muslim emperors for keeping Harems of captive slave men and women is simply absurd. Condemning just for keeping "slavery" with regulation is an apologetic approach towards presenting Islam to non-Muslims under the heavy influence of Orientalism that would never eventually work.
Secondly, it should be noted that so-called " slavery" in the Islamic world should not be compared to the oppressive and brutal slavery of Africans by the Spanish and British Empires. "Slavery" in Islamic Worlds was a very progressive and empowering institution that allowed upward mobility of "Mawalis" to the upper echelons of military and bureaucratic structures. We have a series of Sultans born to slave queens in the Ummayad, Abbasid, and Ottoman Empires. Bernard Lewis, a Jewish American intellectual, has conceded in his book "The Middle East," that the "slavery" system in the Islamic world was far more generous and benevolent, and it produced slave dynasties like Mamluks, Seljuks, Ghaznavids, Ghaurids, Ghulamans (India) and Ottomans. In the Ottoman Empire, the whole military, bureaucratic, and clerical branch of state was recruited by former slaves who were integrated into Muslim households, trained, educated, and raised to the highest levels of state structure like the Grand Vizier and military chiefs under the Sultan. Similarly, slave girls brought from war zones into the Harem system were well fed, educated in the Harem boarding schools, trained in household arts, and selected for the Sultan, who later became Queens of the Empire. Most Sultans of the Ottoman Empire were born to slave women. Under the Abbasid empire, the Turkic slaves were employed as soldiers who fought wars to defend and expand the Islamic empires. They converted to Islam, rose through the ranks, and became military commanders and later Sultans through generations. This upward mobility is well documented by both Muslim and European writers.
Third, the system of nation-states came with the break up of empires that has formalized inter-state divisions and wars based on ethnicity. This is not what is desired for the Ummah, despite "some" benefits. These nation-states have made Ummah weaker in its global impact and has only stoked divisions based on ethnic, cultural and regional distinctions. This was never the dream of the Prophet SAW, who embarked on uniting the Ummah under uniform Shariah law and one creed, aka Caliphate. Most nation-states are run by kufr secular laws that are an affront to the Commands of the Quran and Sunnah. Neither of these nation-states was the ultimate dream of Muslim intellectuals like Iqbal or Maududi. Therefore, celebrating these nation-states, secular values of liberalism is a sign of misery that has befell on the intelligentsia of the Ummah and does half work for the global forces of secularism to retain kufr "rule-based order" where individual nation-states run by secular laws remain divided in the face of combined alliance fo Liberal or Socialist blocs.
