Freeland not providing her notes, if any, is a violation of ATIPP. Freeland just said she has notes for personal use. Those are still notes held and made by a government representative. She MUST give those notes and make them available for the public.

@@joka5345 There's a plethora of lawsuits in the works against the liberal gov't, from breach of the charter of rights, to unlawful arrests and the EA. If it is found that the liberals didn't meet the threshold to invoke the EA, the lawsuits that would stem from that would be enough to legit bankrupt the gov't.

If Ms. Freeland was very concerned about the economic loss and Canada's reputation plummeting during the blockade then why didn't the Liberals meet with the Truckers right at the beginning and resolve the situation? Extend an Olive Branch. By the way, many businesses in downtown Ottawa benefitted from the Truckers and thousands of other Canadians were there. Ask some of the small businesses in downtown Ottawa and you may be surprised. Restaurants and cafe's that chose to stay open did very well.

If you don't take notes in turn those notes cannot incriminate you at a later date. This government met absolutely no threshold to enact this and lied throughout the entire process. In the meantime lawful Canadians suffered greatly. There must be accountability for their unlawful actions.

If they honestly "don't have any notes", then it begs the question, why wouldn't they take notes? If they are doing things by the book, you'd want records to show that. It's basically step 1 in "cover your @ss" for any work place, so you can show what you did in case of a problem. The obvious answer is they have things to hide, or made decisions they didn't want to have any records of.

The Emergencies Act was bound by respect of Rights, unlike the War Measures Act. If they had pulled back on that w/e, no breach but what they did w/it instead was really wrong. Now seemingly indiff, slippery about it, what else are they hiding?
