The thunder spears did the work for him. According to Zeke's throwing velocity, he would have hit Levi unless Levi is able to consistently go above speeds of Mach 2 in ODM gear. It's obviously plot armor, but yeah he is strong.

Projectiles thrown by Zeke are thrown at speed maybe Mach 1, maybe less as we can easily see projectiles, and to dodge them you dont have to be nearly as fast as projectiles as projectiles have to travel tens of meters to reach Levi while Levi has to move by maybe 30 cm, there were lot of gaps between those projectiles, it comes down more to Levi reflexes than his speed.
@@belisarian6429 Mach 2 because someone did the math on youtube, and it came out to mach 2.1 to be specific. the distance the projectiles have to reach from zeke to levi in this case does not give levi the ability to humanely react to them. multiple projectiles spaced, rather than one projectile, makes it harder to avoid but levi avoids it anyways. so, when it comes to math and physics levi loses the fight, but when it comes to the show and levi being an ackerman, he wins.

So that is 40cm to move in 1 sec (disregarding reflexes here as Ackerman is Ackerman). And that is not even considering that Levi could have by this time learned how Zeke throws his pitches, maybe already knowing where there will be probably gaps. So in short he has to move 0.4 m per second. I dunno who did what math under what assumptions of variables, but anything close to Mach sounds way too big. Also consider this, average human can dodge arrow from 30 meters if he is concentrating on it and arrow is visible enough at that distance, that is average human and it is comparable situation.

I was afraid that they're going to dramatize the entire thing even thought it was supposed to be a "Zook comical scene" in the manga. Thankfully, they kept the atmosphere. The fact that they animated Levi sneaking up behind the titan at 2:03 even for just a short moment, shows the level of precision and care that the animators had for this season. That's such an awful thing that Zeke did. He used Levi's biggest weakness against him, that's his love for his fellow soldiers. I feel so bad for the soldiers and Levi.
I think the author wants to let us know Levi is not the same anymore. Without Erwin, he will prioritise his vengeance path. I think he will become more undisciplined and corrupted because of that. Not as Eren ofc tho.

He kind of didn't. Levi went crazy sadistic after recapturing zeak. All he had to do was chop off his legs to insure he couldn't run/escape, but he was so maddened by Zeke turning his squad that he opted to torture him by strapping a live bomb to him which ultimately is the only reason Zeke was able to escape again and make it to Eren, as well as why Levi was out of commission for most of the finale. He was driven insane, to the point where he literally blew himself up.
Why is everything Eren's fault? He was basically forced to work for the Scouts and be used as an guinea pig experiment for them. Levi put him in his own squad for protection, yet the cockiness of Levi squad is the reason all of them were killed by the Female Titan. Eren had zero to do with it though. When Levi floated in the air around his comrades, you could see the pain in his eyes, kinda reminds me of when petra and his squad died. This is honestly heartbreaking to watch
So much pain in Levi's eyes. He allowed those kids to have at least some fun while they were stuck in a forest for an unknown amount of time, and this is what it ended up like. They were his team, people who trusted him, and now he has to kill them with his own hands. He has already lost so many comrades in his life, been through so much pain, and yet he still finds the strength in himself to move on for the sake of humanity. And this is really astounding.

I want all of you realize how amazing is that Zeke is so scared of Levi. Zeke is the war chief of Marley's warriors he's considered the most powerful titan of all the current warriors generation (bertholdt doesn't count because of his passive personality) that means everyone in the world is afraid of him(a exception of paradise of course ). So, in this scene the most feared person in the world is terrified of one single soldier. In conclusion Levi is the most the powerful soldier of the entire world. Such a badass.

Titans created by Zeke are more deadly, faster, more intelligent and unpredictable, and we've also now seen they can even climb trees and precisely predict ODM gear manouvers. And Levi kills them all in brief moments like they were nothing, and than proceeds to low diff the War Chief Shifter like he's nothing. At this point Levi isn't just the most powerful human in the series, he the most powerful character in the series, period. Give him enough time and equippment and this man would single handedly stop the Rumbling.

All he had to do was chop off his legs to insure he couldn't run/escape, but he was so maddened by Zeke turning his squad that he opted to torture him by strapping a live bomb to him which ultimately is the only reason Zeke was able to escape again and make it to Eren, as well as why Levi was out of commission for most of the finale. He was driven insane, to the point where he literally blew himself up.
I feel so bad for Levi, everything he’s done for Eren has got him in a terrible situation, he’s seen all of his comrades dies basically, etc.
