That's a good call! 2021 Hurts was a little better than Lamar in his rookie year, but I'm not sure Hurts can get to the level Lamar has been playing at. Very impressive jump from year 1 to 2 however
They changed up because they were trying to depend on the Hurts arm. Can Hurts get better as a passer? We shall see but this was his Achilles heel coming out of college. If it doesn't improve they have to move on.
Eagles in the playoffs, Colts not, and now have 3 first round draft picks (including one from the Colts). Playing with a cheap rookie wage QB means they can also get some free agents. Obviously the head coach looking good also.
I think in the conditions the game will be played in, the game-plan definitely plays into the Eagles hands, the Bucs defense will be on the field so much, the Eagles will be able to wear them down in the run game, in 20-30 MPH winds with rain projected
Be a damned shame if you had to play against the best run stuffer in the league and a DC who specializes in trench warfare. I'm a little confused by Eagles fans who want a run only game. @@UptownDegree I feel like that's normally right, but VV changes the math in the trenches. Also with the whole defense healthy, and the threat of rain, a highly stacked box looks likely. Let’s be honest the eagles got by off beating bad teams .. that wildcard was pure exposure hurts isn’t the answer at all and eagles need to give up a pick to go after russ or Watson

@@ramal5708 saints don't have VV. VV flies under the radar because he's not breaking any sack records, but he's the most consistent, terrifying thing in the trenches when it comes to numbers and being able to step up in the pocket.
On a bad day he eats Kelce and a guard and makes running up the gut difficult if not impossible. On a good day he clears half a line by himself or runs Kelce into Hurtz or the rb
This was a really solid building block year that was masked as a contender year. Bucs ended that real quick
🔥 great content 👍🏾 .. GO BIRDS 🦅!!!!
Thanks!
Watching this after they got blown out by the Bucs
On the bright side, at least we got to sack Brady. That made the loss worth it
Can you make the next video on how the titans got the 1 seed when they were soo injured...
Cuz im increasingly more confused by it
I'll put them on the list!
I hope ba and tood boles are watching this or other film rn
Keep it up
I take Eagles over Bucs 28-17
Sirianni got the Eagles fertilizing. #GrowEaglesGrow
@brettkollman would disagree. He concluded the flexibility of the run game is because of Kelce
"We MaDe ThEm RuN tHe BaLl" They only stopped bc they lost Mailata to an mcl sprain as soon as he was medically cleared to play they went right back to run heavy
Alex, what’re your plans for videos during the off-season?
I'll be doing draft stuff until the draft and then who knows! I like doing some of the older videos like RG3 or Megatron but film is a little harder to come by with Gamepass turning into crap. Hit me with some ideas
@@AlexRollinsNFL maybe reviewing the past draft class and saying the biggest mistakes/good moves? I’m not quite sure
Good stuff
Imagine joe mixon and joe burrow behind that offensive line
Very reminiscent of the 2018-2019 Ravens. Molded a historic ground game around their young, inexperienced, and limited QB and promptly went out like a dud in the playoffs
That's a good call! 2021 Hurts was a little better than Lamar in his rookie year, but I'm not sure Hurts can get to the level Lamar has been playing at. Very impressive jump from year 1 to 2 however
@@AlexRollinsNFL Fun story but I doubt he’ll ever reach a passable level of consistency as a QB in the NFL.
Me watching the eagles be down 0-30 rn😂
They changed up because they were trying to depend on the Hurts arm. Can Hurts get better as a passer? We shall see but this was his Achilles heel coming out of college. If it doesn't improve they have to move on.
Eagles in the playoffs, Colts not, and now have 3 first round draft picks (including one from the Colts). Playing with a cheap rookie wage QB means they can also get some free agents. Obviously the head coach looking good also.
And now we're out
I think in the conditions the game will be played in, the game-plan definitely plays into the Eagles hands, the Bucs defense will be on the field so much, the Eagles will be able to wear them down in the run game, in 20-30 MPH winds with rain projected
Be a damned shame if you had to play against the best run stuffer in the league and a DC who specializes in trench warfare.
I'm a little confused by Eagles fans who want a run only game. That just makes Bowles job easier, and VV on a bad day still eats Kelce and a guard and closes up anything up the gut.
@@davidrobinson3154 i dont think u fully realize the capabilities of just jason kelce alone
@@davidrobinson3154 we also gave the saints 242 on the ground at a time when they were the absolute best at stuffing that run even better than bowles and vv
@@philaunitebirdgangtakeflig5453 VV clears half the trenches himself on a good day. Not to diminish what the Kelce and the Eagles have accomplished, it's just not the same.
If the weather permits passing you might make 100. If they are in a position to hammer down with their safeties you're gonna have a hard time
@@davidrobinson3154 you guys have a good run defense for sure, im confident we can run on anybody, so fill the box on us go right ahead and drop ur safeties we have other means of hurting u guys
Wow they really carried that run game to the superbowl
See what run game did the poor Lions.
if run game saved your season.... then you might have a QB problem
No way hurts scored on that play against the saints ive been sleepin on him fs
I feel like this run game is going to run into the brick wall that is Vita Vea...
I question Tampa's ability to scheme a balanced game or hammer the ball with all backup RBs, but I question eagle's fans wanting a run based game even more. They realize the bucs have VV and Bowles right?
@@davidrobinson3154 I guess they are hoping hurts gives them an advantage in the box?
@@UptownDegree maybe if they can establish a passing game as well?
@@davidrobinson3154 unless the Bucs go +2 in the box they can always use hurts to get even numbers for their run game. No pass game required.
@@UptownDegree I feel like that's normally right, but VV changes the math in the trenches. Also with the whole defense healthy, and the threat of rain, a highly stacked box looks likely.
Their best bet might be screen passes if the weather is bad. Tampa seems to struggle with screens sometimes for some reason
Excited to see this run offense against the Bucs run D
Eagles are supposed to fly!!! Not run!! 😂
Let’s be honest the eagles got by off beating bad teams .. that wildcard was pure exposure hurts isn’t the answer at all and eagles need to give up a pick to go after russ or Watson
What did I say? An overrated Eagles run game vs #1 dline is a receipt for an L.
First father
Gotta be quicker than that😈
@@Apeezys1229 😳😧
This is why they are going to beat the buc.
Eagles will beat the Bucs.
Nope.
Goodbye filthadelphia.
Their run game didn't save them from Tom Brady and the bucs in the playoffs 😅🤣
Can we just admit that most of the film in this video was against the giants like not so impressive
we'll run it all up and down the field against the team of ur choice, numbers not seen since the 80's my g. comp can play into that a little but u dont hit those kind of milestones without doing a lot of things right and being damn good at them
Eagles played garbage teams in the 2nd half of the season. Their run game is overrated.
lmfao shut up
The Saints were the #1 Run Defense in the League and we put up 242 on them. The Broncos were a Top 5 Run Defense and we put up 238 on them. We can run on anyone, and we're gon a Run all over the Buccaneers.
@@shootmeup_2932 he’s right that’s why The Cowboys exposed them on week 18 and they’ll be getting blown out on sunday
@@kev6981 The eagles were literally playing backups smarties 💀
@@kev6981 stupid ass take. Watch the games. It was the Eagles 2nd string and practice squad all game.
So Lamar 2.0
Similar, but not quite
