I can relate to not being able to count change under pressure, SO much 😂 even still! So glad it’s not just me. Customers had to help me so many times at my register jobs I realized I need to not do register anymore when they rolled their eyes at me 🤦🏽♀️
I just want to say thank you for working on saying “bad” when talking about food. It makes me so happy. Because in ED recovery we’re taught there are no good or bad foods and it helps when others think that way too 💛

I graduated high school in 95, grew up in PHX AZ, but moved to a very small town in NC soon after.
Never seen a Jamba Juice......but we also are just now getting a Chipotle, so......
This kind of thing is what i used to miss about living in the city, esp when i learned that as soon as we moved AZ got In and Out....DAMN IT!!!! Lol
But i do live quiet country life with chickens and a garden....but it took time to adjust.
My first real job in High School was a grocery store. Loved that job!

I work at Jamba now and we still have all those classics… razzmatazz, peach pleasure, strawberries wild, bananaberry… all of them lol
I know exactly what you are talking about w the extra change thing lol I’m 24 and I still can’t figure that shit out. The guests will be like it means I get a 5 back instead of 4.75 and I’ll be like “oh! Okay thank you sir!” 😂 lol

Haha, the same brain blanks happen to me when customers throw in late random change! I work at a grocery store and it happens way too often. Luckily, our bosses know to put extra calculators at each register to help out those of us with no math skills :). And the peanut butter smoothie was always my favorite Jamba Juice drink...definitely not healthy, but sooo good!!!
Jamba Juice was my first job in high school too! I started working there in ‘03. This video brought back so many memories- I would warm up the apple cinnamon pretzel and dip it in peanut butter (for the PB/chocolate moo’d drinks) and my favorite drink was a piña colada with strawberries instead of bananas 😍 YUM

I miss Jamba Juice! I used to always get an orange dream machine. They have some in the frozen section at target and grocery stores, but honestly finding the recipes online tastes way better.

LOL - My husband loves to do that thing with the money. What he's TRYING to do is make it so he doesn't get any change back, or only quarters rather than pennies, nickels, etc. The kicker is that he often gives the wrong amount to the poor cashier, so that they have to give him some kind of crazy change that doesn't make any sense. 🤣 😂

pls i only now started working at jamba 3 months ago and now i’m training to be a supervisor at 18 years old - it’s kinda crazy but it’s my favourite job i’ve ever had ! being closing mic is my least favorite stressful thing but it pays off well !

I'm right there with you on the math thing. I'm TERRIBLE even just normally, but the added pressure that you have as a cashier makes it nightmarish.
i also worked at jamba and express haha i wasn't good at math either and hated when they would give me change after i had already put the amount on the reg. but my favorite thing about jamba was how fun we had and making the drinks of course!
Jamba juice and Quiznos are 2 things I miss! They are mostly closed here, there's still Jamba but I have to drive for it lol I LOVED the razzmatazz or the cold busters when I was starting to feel sick

Seriously, Costco clothes. I’m wearing a Costco shirt today. I haven’t been to a Jamba Juice more then once. But we have a Keva Juice and all through grad school I got a berry buzz which is like raspberry, frozen banana, some juices and sherbet and they add a Red Bull. 😂

Im pretty good at math but being put on the spot I'd sometimes freeze! I also had soooo many jobs since I was 16 (now 40) that I dont think I'd be able to remember all of them.

I work at an ice cream store and I hate when customers give me change after!! Because my brain can’t do math!! I’m so lucky the register is like an iPad and there’s a calculator on it so I just pretend to reopen the register and use the calculator to figure it out 😭😭

No Jamba Juice on the East side ):
My first job that wasn't babysitting, was at Peaches Records and Tapes and I'm pretty sure I made $4.75 an hour which I thought was so cool, lol! The store smelled amazing because all of the records were stored in scented peach crates, and all of the employees were really awesome but the manager was this old, pretentious ass who thought he was superior to everyone because he studied music or something.
I just saw your heart failure video and I will pray for you. Those idols and symbols in your home are demonic. I don't feel like it is really anyones place to say anything to each their own however now that you have come under physical attacks to your heart I really hope you find Jesus Christ. Amen
