Gaffert new Volvo 150 ton crane in action

Un-couple and couple the with wood loaden trailer with the new Gaffert Volvo 150 ton Cormach crane. In the last part i had trouble with my camera, so no movie from the loading part...

I drive one about half the size, 87 ton/meter, ( only a baby!). As stated, I can only lift about 15 ton right alongside my truck.
Doesn’t make it any less impressive though. And yes, the big ones are “slow”, if you want to be really, really scared with good reason, ask the operator to engage “fast”!

Hi, but this is not a 150 t crane. This crane is may rated as a 30 t crane what is a theoretical number. I would put not more than
5 t on this hook. To lift 150t you need to have a massive counter weight guessing 100t to 130t. This tiny hydraulic cylinders and
small stamps/outriggers can never handle 150t. 15t is properly the max limit for this crane not more than 10m out.
