Best middle hitter and blocker hands down. he was a beast when he was teammates with Lloy Ball. he absolutely crushes the ball. one of my favorite players. he was a total beast!!!! this year Olympics at rio.. I felt like Lee was rarely involved when he was playing upfront. I understand when passes are bad it's hard to run the middle but when they were great passes I felt like he was being involved often. I am a firm believer that you should involve the middle a lot cause it sets up 1 on 1 matches from outside hitter and opposite hitter. that way the middle blocker can become confused and sometimes they can be late I helping out. I don't know if he'll return for 2020... but I loved watching David Lee. hell of a player.

in 2008-2010 season - both NT and club - he was the best blocker. He plateaued after those years but still he was still considered one of the best.
Not even sure why....but one of my favorite middles to watch ever.....
