That is such a hard fight for jorm. He complains about his sta being gone, jorm was just outplaying him. Without any deflects, dodge attacks, bashes and no guarantee's playing against the most mobile character in the game with everything that makes him an elite 1v1er.
Jormungundr didn’t out play him, he lost. Both characters take skill and patience and knowing when to do certain attacks. Stamina drain is extremely annoying cause it discourages you from staying in front of your opponent and throwing multiple attacks. Both played to their characters strengths, Shinobi just came out on top.

Shinobi is rated as one of the best characters in the game right now and Jorm is rated as the actual worst in the game right now and there was a single round deficit.

But in my experience, Shinobi has a very reactable bash, is easy to punish and is next to a push over when you can light parry, which I think out of everyone in the series Jormungundr does the best. Jormungundr definitely has his weaknesses, but in the hands of a competent player. He makes everytime you throw more then 2 attacks risky and standing in front of him a bad idea. Causing you to feel like you need to move which can get you caught. To be fair, Jormungundr is my most hated character to fight, so I’m bias. But I think the community oversells how “bad” Jormungundr is

This match was insane - literally kept me on the edge of my seat. I knew Jorm had little to no chances to win because of the kit differences and Shinobi having a million movement tools to counter it but the fact it was this close is just incredible, he's so damn skilled.

Jorm definitely the better player while Shinobi was just free gliding most of the match. Jorm went fucking ballistic at that Shinobi round 14. To carry himself all the way like that was insane. The cost of conditioning your opponent correctly but being unable to see that, so he panic deflects you twice for the Dubby, and you blame stamina drain when you had stamina meaning you had one attack in mind and if it failed that was as far as your brain even went. It's come back. I can read again, between the lines...
