Great video on troubleshooting tips! I was going through some of these steps as my Ryker Rally shut off w/ beeps after warming it up recently for about 15 minutes. I busted out my battery tender, and saw that my battery was less than 1/2 - haven't been able to ride lately due to the weather, but I try to start/warm it up once a week. My last ride was 2 months ago.
Hello, brother question. A customer of mine brought in her father's 2014 Can-Am trike. He said he is having some starting problems. We try to turn it over, but it won't turn over. So we took out the air filter and then sprayed 11:02 starter fluid in it, but nothing turned over. Can you help me out?
Broo... Literally happened to me yesterday after installing new LED lights. Tried charging my battery. Took the new lights out completely. Still would not start. Ended up being a fuse after 4 hours of distress. Thanks for the video even tho it was a little late 😂🤣
Sorry the video was a little late buddy but I'm always here to help. You can always head over to our website and look at the bottom of the page and you will see all of my contact information. You'll find an email and phone number you can reach out to me 24/7. Thank you for subscribing to the channel I hope you have a wonderful day
Without seeing the bike in person I wouldn't have a clue as to what's going on with it. Definitely do a Google search to figure out what those codes mean and go from there. A dynojet PV3 might help clear the codes but if something's actually broken you're going to need to fix whatever is broken and then clear the codes. We carry the PV3 on our website you can order it without a tune just to clear the codes or you can order it with a custom tune installed ready to go right out the box to get your bike some more horsepower and torque. When we build a tune it's built specifically for your modifications. So if you want a tune made for your exhaust, high flow filter, RAM air intake, headers, then you'll need to send an email and let me know what parts to build the tune for. I would highly recommend owning a PV3 even if we're not doing the tuning. It can be used to clear your CVT belt maintenance code as well as other codes that are showing up. Here is a link to the PV3 on our website you'll see all my contact information at the bottom of the website. If you need to get a hold of me it's easier to do it through email or text me at the phone number at the bottom of the page. www.blrtuning.co/products/can-am-ryker-pv3-25-11-by-dynojet
I’m new to your content, here from Facebook. I have a 22 sport with the issue where you can start it with a magnet. How do you feel about this and do you have any suggestions on this? My dealer acts like they have no idea and after talking to them about 10 times they say BRP has told them of no fix “ such as new key system” my next step would be to call BRP
Yes the 2022 models had a shortage of components at the time they were being made. So this means that some of them that were released don't require a programmed key to actually start the bike. The only thing I can think of to fix it would be to contact BRP
My Ryker isn’t starting, mu BUDS diagnostic isn’t even detecting my Ryker. Died on me at a stop light, just a clicking noise with a brand new battery. Says check key while key is in, brake lights flicker in sync with the clicking. Definitely stumped This time. The fact that the BUDS isn’t detecting my Ryker has me worried. Possible to get some direction?
@@BLRTUNINGunfortunately it isn’t tuned, is in my plans, but now that’s on the back burner until I can get this issue figured out. Haven’t checked fuses yet because usually it’s never that simple for me😂
Well I’ll be damned it was a fuse..definitely blown. Thanks Bill, if it wasn’t for this video it would have never occurred to me it could be something as simple as a fuse.
it could be a bad fuel pump my ryker be in the shop for 4 weeks now they dont know when they are getting one can am says they are investigating the problem with the pumps no shops are getting them.
Yeah the only real way to test the pump is to pull it out and test it at home yourself. Most of the time a shop just wants to replace it so they can pocket the shop money. If you pulled it out on your own app you hook it up to a 12 volt battery and test the pump yourself to be certain that is the pump or not
Check the fuses with a volt meter make sure they still have continuity. I would start there. Looking at a fuse won't tell you if it's blown or not. A fuse could have a hairline crack in it that you can't see. The only way to truly check a fuse to see if it's blown is to put a volt meter on it and test both leads
@@davidknapp8790 well dang that's a tough one. Sounds like main fuse went out. However if you tested everything you can see in that fuse block then I wouldn't have a clue without seeing the bike in person
No leaving the cool switch on won't have anything to do with it whatsoever. You can leave that kill switch on for the next 10 years if the key isn't on the bike it won't do anything. Do you have a different battery you can connect to it or jump box

Thanks for your help
Omg! Thank you so much bro!!
No problem thank you for subscribing to the channel
Where did you get the tank bag?
I ordered that directly through BRP. If you just look up tank bag for Can-Am ryker.
My ryker wouldn't start today, thought it was the battery, it ended up being the starter relay/solenoid
I have a question my bike is in limp mode codes p123 and P0222 how do I fix this issue I have 500 to 600 miles on the bike
