  • If I had a pound (£) for every time this has happened to me, I'd be living on an island right now.
This video is obviously a joke lool. No shade to anyone who wants to start working out and change their lives for the better. I will respect anyone who makes that decision and help them along their journey (even if they don't listen the first time ;D). That's literally why I made this channel in the first place.
Want to know how to build muscle? Want to know how to lose weight?
    The answer is simple*.
Go to the gym regularly and eat clean.
That's it. That's LITERALLY IT. That's literally ALL you need to do. It really is THAT simple.
I've never ONCE gone on any of those fad weight-loss diets or tried any of those ridiculous weight-loss products. Neither have any of my friends. And we've all managed to build strong, impressive physiques.
How did we do that? By going to the gym regularly and eating clean. THAT is the key to weight loss / building muscle. The amount of rubbish, gimmicky, and false "weight loss solutions" I've seen online is insane. Weight loss tea**, apple cider vinegar for weight loss, waist trainers, it's all nonsense. Likewise, many of the diets I've seen pushed online are so restrictive and soul-crushing that most people can't stick to them (and why would you want to? They SUCK).
Maybe you find it easier to go to the gym than to fix your diet. That's ok. I can't blame you. It's difficult to know how to eat cleanly when all the unhealthiest options are the cheapest and so heavily advertised. But you can learn. And you'll thank yourself so much when you do because it will genuinely change your life for the better in almost every conceivable way.
So, what does "eating clean" mean? I can't give specific advice (because everyone is different, and different things will work for different people) so I will offer general suggestions.
Eating clean "refers to eating foods that are as close as possible to their natural state. This encourages us to make our meals from scratch to make them as 'clean' as possible" (source: tinyurl.com/cl...)
Eating clean does not mean starving yourself or going on a super restrictive diet to lose weight. Likewise, if your goal is to build muscle, you can do so perfectly well (and in a much healthier way) by eating clean.
Now, you might be asking: how do you eat clean? It's simple. To eat cleanly:
    1. Prepare meals from scratch
    2. Avoid junk food, sugary snacks, and sugary drinks
PREPARE MEALS FROM SCRATCH: My friends and I make almost all of our meals from scratch. We go to the supermarket and get all the ingredients we need to make the food we want to eat. We try to eat natural, whole foods that aren't super-processed. However, we WILL allow ourselves to eat some processed foods and/or junk food in moderation from time-to-time because we actually want to enjoy our existence. The key, though, is that we make sure we eat whole foods most of the time.
AVOID JUNK FOOD AND SUGARY SNACKS: junk food and sugary snacks are the enemies of anyone trying to lose weight. That's because they're packed with calories. If you're trying to lose weight, then you need to burn more calories than you're consuming. But, if you regularly eat food that is calorie-dense -- like cake, chocolate, and fast food -- you will find it harder to lose weight because even a few bites of these will provide a large amount of calories.
If you want to lose weight, avoiding junk food, sugary snacks, and sugary drinks is a great way to drastically reduce the amount of calories you consume in a day. Some people might find this restrictive -- especially if they eat a lot of junk food -- so instead of cutting all junk food out at once, a workaround could be to slowly reduce the amount of junk food and sugary snacks you eat over time. You don't even need to cut them out entirely. I still enjoy eating them every now and then. But I treat them as a rare treat rather than an everyday staple.
Of course, this is just a rough overview. But, in a nutshell, the best way to lose weight and/or build muscle is to go to the gym and eat clean.
I hope this was helpful. I want as many people to get as fit and healthy as possible. It annoys me that there are so many influencers and companies spreading nonsense because it confuses people and puts them off.
Once again, the solution is simple. Go to the gym and eat clean. That's the best way to get the body you want.
    EXTRAS:
*I claim that going to the gym and eating clean are simple, but there are people with conditions that make these more challenging. Exercise and healthy eating can be beneficial for many conditions, but if you do have a medical condition or disability, I'd recommend talking to a health professional before starting any rigorous exercise regime or modifying your diet.
** Some fit teas contain laxatives that make you poop a lot. They don't burn fat. They just cause you to lose fluids and electrolytes. Not good.
