    Hi Guys Welcome Back!!
    Episode 2 is super interesting because I had the opportunity to sit down with 21 yr old VicBlends who is trailblazing through the early start of his career. We journey through his ability to be resourceful & utilize current tools like social media that has helped him grow quickly and get him to where he is. He currently has an online academy, newly release product, and merchandise. Being good at something can sometimes attract negativity from outsiders and we briefly go over how we navigate through them and not letting them take over our emotions. You can't make everyone happy right? Vic is definitely showing the world that at any age, you can get the most out of your career if you really stay dedicated, focused, open minded, and forever a student to the game.

I’m glad we were able to talk about the negative side a little because it’s very real and happens often & being able to work through that makes the biggest difference. Anyways appreciate you tuning in and finding value among my videos! ❤️

    Seen his cuts, not worth $100 even if it’s “full service” no haircut in a barber shop is. Can go to a hood spot and get the same cut for cheaper. It’s not like going from a Minor League game for $30 and then going to a major league game for $100. Everyone uses the same clippers/trimmers. Him Bossio and others just wanna hit that coveted $100 to sound like they’re in some kind of unattainable echelon. Go watch people like Eddie at barber academy or 360jeezy and they still charging regular prices and are doing the same kind of cuts.

    • @Staygold31
      @Staygold31  4 роки тому +3

      Trust me I get it. People invest into everything differently. The fact is that people can charge whatever they want because there is an existing clientele for any price point. Why someone would pay $500 for fear of god sneakers or $200 for some other nikes depends on what they feel is valuable to their life. Everyone runs their business differently and that’s respectful on every end. Hawk charges $125 for the same type of clientele as Vic. People pay for consistency, trust, cleanliness, great tools and products used on them, being on time, customer service, recommendations, expertise, experience of the whole service...i think its safe to say there’s more to it than just a haircut price that you are thinking about. I’m on the higher end as well and they don’t have to come to me for my price, but they do and they gladly pay it. 😁 Expand your thoughts, barbering doesn’t have to be who can do the best for cheap? 🥴

    • @Mike-hy8cs
      @Mike-hy8cs 4 роки тому +4

      Its not just about the haircut its about the experience. Also a lot of it has to do with supply and demand. If you stand out as a barber and people love what you do. They will tell others about your work. It creates a want for your services. Unfortunately, barbers are not machines so they are limited to how many people they can realistically take in a day and still produce their great quality service. What does this mean? It means the barber is going to raise his/her prices to match that demand so it limits the amount of people that will realistically be able to come to them and they dont burn themselves out. With that said some barbers even famous ones like to cut a lot of heads in a day and they dont mind it. So they will charge 30-40$ so they can still cut the masses and more people can afford it. Bossio is charging 100$ haircuts because he wants people to allow him to make youtube content instead of just getting a haircut. He offers free haircuts if you let him record the haircut. With that said there are barbers that charge over 100$ for a haircut. If they have the clientele to do so then why not? Those barbers prefer to take their time and cut less heads in a day to make similar money to the barbers who charge a lot less. There is a market for both its not as much of an ego thing as you might think.
