When I was living near Portland Oregon I bought all my fish in this store. Very knowledgeable staff, friendly, they will answer any questions you have, whether you are a beginner or advanced aquarium keeper. So glad to see them featured on UA-cam. Thank you WetSpot, for your help.
I am very impressed with the cleanliness of the displays, never seen it this organized and clean looking, no dead fish floating around like uou see some times. I DO like planted more natural looking tanks but hats of♡
Perfect timing!! I was going to place a small order for some wild bettas and rare (in my area) shell dwellers. This store is wonderful. I could spends hours there!
I love this store. ❤️ I've purchased a pack of mixed live plants and guppies along with neon tetras over a year ago and they are doing great. Great quality products and healthy and fish. 🐟🐠❤ 💯🙏
That giant pleco at 5:09 was mine lol we had to move I had him since I was 9 I'm 15 now he was in a 125 gallon semi planted tank I believe he was just about 17 inch
Haven't had tanks in years but might start over. Planted community, African cichlids were my favorite.still have a piece of white coral the malawi babies would grow up in safely. Great tour and store. Thanks
I live in NJ but visited them when I was in Portland. I occasionally order Ameca Splendens from them to supplement the genetics in my original colony. They always arrived in the mail in good condition. Planning on ordering more soon.
That smiling sand puffer made me chuckle. I'm actually looking to help the feeder ghost shrimp situation, locally. I agree the feeders are naaaaaaasty... I remember some of my 1st tanks, 20 yrs ago, Bala Sharks were $0.99/ea lolol
@@SteenfottAquatics I'd love to see that if you can get them going. That'd be incredibly useful information for me. A little over a year with my small group and nada.
all the full grow like 2 footer datanoids i've seen still had the stripes........maybe it's only certain species that lose the stripes? I see them go solid now and then based on mood then stripe up again
I bought 5 White Tiger Turquoise Discus from the Wetspot in March of this year. They were the smaller 2.5" size and two are already pairing up. I would like to see them get more Wild Discus in or at least a few more varieties.
The Macaw Cichlid is the Nicaraguan Cichlid (Hypsophrys Nicaraguensis) females get about 8" and more colorful than their 10" male counterparts. Probably the best Central American cichlid... the Herotilapia Multispinosa (Rainbow Cichlid). Thanks for the video Steenfott and the Wet Spot!
i like your videos i get to see fishes ive never seen. could you zoom in a little more and pause for a second so i can get a good look. keep the cool videos coming
That dyslexic acting headstander was hilarious. I would constantly be worried that it was dying. Fish can act so crazy by human standards. I have always liked The Wetspot Tropical Fish. Thanks for the tour.
You had to pee real bad mid way thru the video? Starting with the guppies go back and show each fish right! I don't want to hear "oh just some livebearers". I want to SEE them. No thumbs up here.
I hope you all enjoyed the tour. It was such a good time.

The puffer hiding in the sand was one of the cutest things I’ve seen 😄🥰👀

This is my LFS. Their inventory is incredible and always changing. And the staff work hard and know their stuff. Always a pleasure shopping there.

Pretty normal for high end stores like The Wet Spot. :)

Nice selection fish there bob, enjoyed watching. Good knowledge from the girls at the store and yourself
Glad you enjoyed it
Thanks for the tour, saw some fish want
Thanks for sharing with all of us in the fish community. ❤
The Monte Cristo cichlids (O. Heterospila) are awesome when they get big! Same with the macaws (H. Nicaraguensis)!
My favorite local store by far!
"They get to be about 9.4 inches..." Great tour. You two challenge each other, a good duo.
Wet Spot is my go to LFS, even though it is 2 hours away! I love this store.
Great wonderful tour
Very good!!! If I could apply even half of your suggestions, I would be content.

Love it. I've been waiting for them to get some more loxozonus corys in forever. They're one of the only stores that carry them at a reasonable price.
My group came from them. Hopefully i can get them spawning soon.

I had a Royal Gramma that would blow out the sand the way this puffer does. Gorgeous store, wish they did salt.
Piękne akwarium super pozdrawiam serdecznie miłego dnia życzę super market
There used to be a shop called The Wet Spot in Southfield, MI
Good job Mrs..
Schöner Fish Store mit durchwegs gesunden Fischen! 👍

Never seen anyone keep Keyhole Cichlids besides me! :) They need to be marketed better. You can keep those with all kinds of peaceful fish.
Loved this video! Ive ordered from The Wet Spot before, but it’s time for a second order with the coupon code! Congo Tetras here I come! 👏🏻😋
Yes! Thank you!
@steenfottAquatics
are the matten like foam filters flat against the glass with the outflow behind?

That head stander is a psychopath.
Wait, is this wetspot?
I watched the puffer part multiple times 😂
Great video. 👍🏼
Great tour!
How do you keep the tanks so crystal clear?!
I love this store.
Great video!
Thanks!
Thank you!
Interested in snake skin bars and mascara bars what price do you have on them
Awesome video! Did they ever say what species of Guianacara are in the video?
The one I know best is maganese, plants suffer problems taking in maganese nutrition with anything above 6.5 PH
Excellent!!
Nice fishes 😊
I want to get into killifish do u have a favorite?
Wondering about buying the eggs fron ebay?
I have never bought eggs on ebay, and probably would never risk it.
6:10 meanwhile another discus is biting the dust 😂 let's ignore it it's normal.
That was really cool.
Nice shop!
good stuff
More!!!
It sounded like your guide was getting done with the tour
It always takes a lot longer than you think. After spending all day in a hot humid environment everyone feels done by the end.
very cool store
take a shot everytime steenfott goes ʰᵉʰᵉʰᵉʰᵉ
I always thought the store would be so much bigger.
They make good use of the space
I bought 5 baby Shell dwellers from here ❤
🙂 puffer face in the sand
Will pencilfish cross-breed? Like Beckford's and Red Pencils, can they be kept together?
Pencils won’t cross breed. I’ve kept probably 7 different species, frequently together, never a single issue with cross breeding.
I orderd 12 phoenix rasboras and when shipment arrived only received 11 😢😢😢
Did you email customer service. They have great customer service reps and I’m sure they would take care of it.
I wonder if that puffer hiding in the sand is a convergent evolutionary behavior or something they picked up from cohabitating with rays…
I don’t believe there are stingrays in Africa
👍🏻👍🏻
my local fish store
I love black calvus cichlids but man they are aggressive with each other
Count how many times he say me or I 😮
Why does it matter?
@12 min timestamp, it's Dawkinsia tambraparniei, not Dawkinsia arulius. These fishes are always confused in identification
Do you know the fishes real name ?
Yes, its real name is George
Its red because they're hot
Well what the.. I wanted to see what Guppies they had to offer and you just passed them up.
I just can't stand upspeak. Probably very interested video but had to stop watching.

If you want to SEE them so bad go travel there yourself and film them. I'll film what i want to film. Take your thumb and sit on it.
Thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it and thanks!!!
