Thank you for a useful and very brief explainer.
Question : if I wanted to create web-server visible to the public, how do I go about it from VMware networking?

Do you have a video or any tips on how to set up a VM isolated from my network? I'm trying to do malware analysis.

If you don't need an internet connection you can simply uncheck the Connected box under network adapter status and it will not be able to communicate with any other VMs or the host.

Since the internet connection is going through the host regardless, I don't want to say so and so method would be safe and not be sure. I have setup a USB Wi-Fi adapter on a VM and then connected to the internet directly through that adapter rather than the host adapter so that might be a safe way to keep the internet isolated. Then again the Wi-Fi adapter is still connected to the host!

@@OnlineComputerTips Sorry, I'm still confused. This is a beginner level course, and I see videos of them using Virtualbox.
I was told for VMware I need to go to virtual network config, set it up and set IPs. I'm confused, but I'll check that video too, thanks

You can setup virtual networks in VMware Workstation but once again I don't want to say it will completely isolate your host from your malware test in case something can get by.

3:15 is allowing files and printer sharing safe? Will hackers attack my PC if I enable it in firewall?

Your VMs are still running within your host computer's network so as long as you have protection from on the host level you should be ok. Of course I can't say for sure since I don't know you are keeping things secure. Plus your shares should be protected by user account access assuming you don't give Everyone full access on the NTFS level.

I did the same and added Horizon Agent With direct connect plug-in.
I can access it from web browser anywhere.

Thank you very much. I set all things like you and it works (ping command). THEN I try to go through Remot Desktop from Host to VMs, that doesn't work, but VMs can have access remotely to each other. IS IT POSSIBLE TO ACCESS the VMs through Host (physical computer) by Remote Desktop Connection? 🙏🌹🌹

You will need to enable remote desktop on the computer you want to access assuming its running a pro or enterprise version of Windows.

My toughts were can the vm talk to the host?
its better to disable in host the adapters so that the conection beetween are cut off
I mean the whole thing is
    is bi directional ping
or only host can ping a VM
because if vm can ping host it means I believ its not secure
    am I right?

If an infected VM can ping host it mens
somehow it could infect hosts internet
