One thing I failed to mention in the video is that trusses, beam systems, curtain walls, curtain systems, and stacked walls cannot be in an assembly. Revit will allow you to add the components of a curtain wall to the assembly for example, but not the curtain wall itself. This is unfortunate but not the end of the world. Adding a curtain wall to an assembly means you will have only its components (curtain panels and mullions within the assembly) but the more important thing to note is you cannot edit it as a curtain wall anymore.

My method of adopting Revit as my platform for my work has been to put on blinders and focus on what I need to get the project done. I'm going to watch your videos to expend my horizons a bit.
One comment that I’d not necessarily related but that you brought up around 2:55 and that was that if you see some parameters when you select a model element, in this case an assembly, that you can schedule it. I thought the same thing when I was working with revision clouds and I was adding comments to them but I later came to realize that there is no option to schedule all those revision comments I made. It ended up being a big timesink and I ended up having to use dynamo (not too successfully).
Yea revision clouds cannot be scheduled unfortunately, although assemblies can create schedules from the assembled items. The thing to try would be to schedule assemblies or if the elements in the assemblies if they can be scheduled as normal.

What to do, if I want to have different phases in one project file? - I mean how to differenciate assembly name for the same elementy but in a different phase? I just want Revit to consider phase as variable.
In general, you never want to have the same element in multiple phases because that element would be built in the previous phase. I would make sure and think in a way that accounts for each element being in one phase. Given that, you might need to reform the assembly to account for what is in a specific phase.

I have a store building which have 2 phases (A and B) and both phases are almost the same, so there will be a lot of assemblies that are the same (for example concrete columns, foundations, etc). Is there a way to take two assemblies that are the same, and do something to name it differently? Or I have to give them some parameter just to divide them in the schedules?
After creating assembly I wanted to move that assembly to some other location. after moving when I see the sheet, all the arrangements displaced why..?
oooh that's a good questions, one that I am not entirely familiar with. I will say that when I use assemblies, it is for one off things and for elements I know that will not move. You could consider remaking it.

@@ArchitectureVanguard the most important thing for an architect with regards to MEP is to allow for space for MEP equipment, such as adequately sized shafts and enough headroom. as for your videos, the way you explain is very good, you have the viewer's attention. btw, I tried assemblies for MEP but then I couldn't connect piping to the assembly so I reverted back to groups. but then with groups, I had a problem of elements being automatically excluded so I couldn't connect to the piping system
Thank you for the kind words! You have discovered why I dislike groups and sometimes assemblies. They both are both considered “closed pipes” (pun intended) in that everything in them needs to stay within them and not connected to anything else for them to work. For these reason I might not use groups because so much of what is modeled needs to be connected other objects.
It could be based on what is seen by default in those views. Could also be the extents of the view, although the assembly should have included what is in the assembly in the view. Check visibility graphics for sure. If you applied a view template with windows off then that may be why. Hope one of those helps.

I have a problem with create views when I made one assembly for window. In my views are all empty. Maybe u know what was wrong?

Once you select the link or hover over the link you can keep hitting tab to select an element in a link.
