I am having a very hard time finding a stock photo for a Kay Unger New York Ball Gown I bought at TJ Maxx a couple months ago so it can't be that old. My photos just don't do this dress justice - the MSRP on the tag is $595 - I paid $36 on clearance & it's gorgeous! I'm hoping to get $175-$200 for it - but not with my sad pictures! So I will try everything you've suggested - thanks again! Viki
Finding the stock photo via the style # never works for me. I get everything but the right picture. Many many clothing don't have a style no. In fact, I'm finding many many clothing that don't have tags at all! They just have the brand label. It's as if the manufacturer doesn't want you to know what the size is; especially true of material.
LiS Wright , I have NEVER found the right garment using that darn style#! It is basically useless. I agree that a descriptive search is the best...I was hoping to learn a new way here. 😒

The easiest way would be to take a screenshot on your phone, but it f your are on your computer you can right click on the image and there should be an option for you to save the image. If you are on your phone you can also click and hold your finger down on the image and "save image" should pop up

Excellent. I have a beautiful Zara summer thin striped dress 2 seasons ago and I just wanted to see a photo to work out the shoulder straps which came apart in the washing machine (I worked it out in the end 😊). Your description was comprehensive. Love from London.
I swear to God I'm the queen of finding stuff that does not have stock photos. I search the style numbers and names, the RN if I want to find out who sold it (on the occasion that there's no brand tag or that it's something simple like forever 21) to search better, everything. And NOTHING lol. Took me like 3 days to find a stock photo of the Free People Out Of Africa black combo dress lol. Gahhhh

I spend entirely too much time looking up terms etc, time I never spent in school say studying the real important things I should've paid attention to ya know... I just can't help myself when it comes to clothes-I want it all or at least window shop in some way for it all... Lol

If you are on your desktop, you can usually right click on the image and click save image and then upload it to Poshmark just like you would any other photo from your desktop or if you are on your phone you can tap and hold on the image and it will bring up options where you can tap save image and it will save to your photo library and then you can upload from there just like you would with photos you’ve taken on your camera. Hope that helps 😊

Do you use stock photos for used clothes or only for new with tag
I use them in my listing whenever I can find them (new or used) just to give the customer an idea of what it looks like one :)

To find a stock photo for a QVC brand look on the label. It doesn't work all the time if it's an old item.
