If the team stays healthier this year and hits on Bo (top 15 QB in his first year) and they don’t shoot thenselves in the foot with penalties which have been pretty bad lately…. He came to them off of a shoulder injury, and they had already drafted Philip Rivers before his injury. If the Chargers thought Brees was a good QB, the Chargers wouldn't have drafted Rivers. Also you had mentioned that Bo Nix was the 6th QB taken in the draft........ well how about Lamar's draft class? Where was he taken? How about Brees? How about Tom Brady? How about Dan Marino? How did the QB's that were taken before them fair?
They at bare minimum have a bottom 3 roster in the AFC if you’re being at all objective, and are in a division where they have absolutely no shot at winning, so they’ll have to make a wildcard. Mims had almost exactly the same rookie year that Nico Collins had, Courtland Sutton is definitely better than anyone on the Texans going into the season last year, he also has been consistently good with horrible QB play which shows that he might be better than you think he is, also he's 28 not "old" in receiver terms. Tim Patrick is a much better comparison to Schultz if he can stay healthy because he has historically some of the most consistent hands in the league. You brought up RG3, and everything you said about him coming into a great situation was completely false, he was a pick that Shanahan didn't even want, Shanahan wanted Cousins. They were 5-11 the previous year and the only reason he led them to the playoffs was his ability to scramble. Bo Nix was the 12th pick, not number 1 or 2. So Mac Jones is a fair comparison, and the Broncos definitely have more veterans than you gave them credit for defensively. Brandon Jones and Cody Barton DJ Jones, Levi Wallace, all have started for multiple seasons in the league. Sean Payton took over the saints, added Brees Reggie bush who struggled his rookie year, and a 7th round pick Marques Colston and the same remaining pieces and turned them from 3-13 to 10-6. Cowherd says a lot of crazy stuff, but this wasn't even close to one of them, saying payton could win 2 more games this year than he did last year.

Besides Chase and Burrow, I am struggling to think of any other qb and wr college duos that also played really well in the nfl together. I am just wondering if Bo Nix and Troy Franklin could be sort of similar to burrow and chase in a way that college chemistry works in the nfl.
Burrow and Chase are also both top 3 prospects at their positions in the last decade, a little different than the 6th QB in his class and a 2nd round receiver.
Broncos are underrated. I don’t think they will be a playoff team but going from 8-9 to 3 or 4 wins doesn’t make sense with some defensive upgrades and a good OL, and a QB that fits Sean Payton’s system. I think Broncos finish 7-10.

Going into last off-season I think everyone was picking the Texans to finish last in the conference. Few thought they could win more than seven games much less with the division. So there are things that the Broncos can do to evaporate the perception of Pre-season basement dweller to postseason. If Nix is good that helps a lot but they need other players to ascend as well.

Nix had key things to me that make a good qb. He converted on those 3rd downs. Extended plays and moved the chains. He didn't turn the ball over and in the red zone he got a td. He should have ha 2 tds just a tough drop by Reynolds but the throw was spot on. 1 game does not make a qb but I'm glad he's facing the packers this week that'll be a good eye test for me to see if he can string together another good performance. People forget the broncos beat a lot of playoff teams on their 6 game win streak. They beat the bills, kc, gb, cleveland, even though Watson didn't play but we did beat those teams last year and that was with a bum qb like Wilson. Nix just needs to play within the system we have talent on this roster it's not well known because our qb situation has been lacking.

If so I understand but if you're going to make a vid about this the least you can do is be objective and cover most of your basis. We shall see what happens this year. I think we will match our win total from last year granted we stay healthy if not match it we might flip it and be 9-8 this time. If Bo can play though I think we can make it to 10. 8 the floor 10 the ceiling for me. 9 the sweet spot.

He came to them off of a shoulder injury, and they had already drafted Philip Rivers before his injury. If the Chargers thought Brees was a good QB, the Chargers wouldn't have drafted Rivers. Also you had mentioned that Bo Nix was the 6th QB taken in the draft........ well how about Lamar's draft class? Where was he taken? How about Brees? How about Tom Brady? How about Dan Marino? They at bare minimum have a bottom 3 roster in the AFC if you’re being at all objective, and are in a division where they have absolutely no shot at winning, so they’ll have to make a wildcard. There just isn’t a scenario where the Broncos are good this year. Bo Nix could be the OROY and play like Drew Brees from day 1 and I would still be shocked if they made the playoffs.

You said Denver doesn't have any young receivers that could improve with QB play. Mims had almost exactly the same rookie year that Nico Collins had, Courtland Sutton is definitely better than anyone on the Texans going into the season last year, he also has been consistently good with horrible QB play which shows that he might be better than you think he is, also he's 28 not "old" in receiver terms. Tim Patrick is a much better comparison to Schultz if he can stay healthy because he has historically some of the most consistent hands in the league. You brought up RG3, and everything you said about him coming into a great situation was completely false, he was a pick that Shanahan didn't even want, Shanahan wanted Cousins. They were 5-11 the previous year and the only reason he led them to the playoffs was his ability to scramble. Bo Nix was the 12th pick, not number 1 or 2. So Mac Jones is a fair comparison, and the Broncos definitely have more veterans than you gave them credit for defensively. Brandon Jones and Cody Barton DJ Jones, Levi Wallace, all have started for multiple seasons in the league. Sean Payton took over the saints, added Brees Reggie bush who struggled his rookie year, and a 7th round pick Marques Colston and the same remaining pieces and turned them from 3-13 to 10-6. Cowherd says a lot of crazy stuff, but this wasn't even close to one of them, saying payton could win 2 more games this year than he did last year.

Going into last off-season I think everyone was picking the Texans to finish last in the conference. Few thought they could win more than seven games much less with the division. So there are things that the Broncos can do to evaporate the perception of Pre-season basement dweller to postseason. If Nix is good that helps a lot but they need other players to ascend as well.

Sean Payton immediately comes in and changes everything around and we win 8 games with mediocre QB play, and an absolute laughingstock of a defense. I’m sorry, Bo Nix needs talent around him, he needs a few more pieces on the offense of line, a 2nd and 3 wide receiver. Again, 1 preseason game isn’t enough to determine a playoff run. And not to be hard on Bo Nix, but he really has to get better with his foot work.
Nix had key things to me that make a good qb. He converted on those 3rd downs. Extended plays and moved the chains. He didn't turn the ball over and in the red zone he got a td. He should have ha 2 tds just a tough drop by Reynolds but the throw was spot on.
1 game does not make a qb but I'm glad he's facing the packers this week that'll be a good eye test for me to see if he can string together another good performance.
Heck Nix is doing something right he got the guy who made this video hating on him already and all he did was play 1 game.

The team is not lacking in talent, it's lacking in marquee players. Just because they're unknown doesn't mean they suck. There are players on this team that will surprise people.
As inefficient as Russ was last season, the fact that this team won 8 (not to mention beating the Chiefs and Bills, and almost beating the Chiefs a second time) means they have talent. So this season, if Bo is just better than Russ was last year, there's no reason why the Broncos shouldn't have a winning record, maybe even push for a playoffs spot.
