Another Fun Fact: Director James Mangold was asked in an interview if the look and tone of the film was inspired by the Last of Us. James had never heard of the game, so he went out, played the game and saw the similarities. But now when people ask him if he would ever direct the Last of Us, he answers that he pretty much did when he made this.

This movie was absolutely incredible in every way. It was the rated R wolverine movie fans were waiting for. Def one of the best comic movies ever for me.
Originally, Sabertooth was set as to appear. But 1, they couldn't get Liev Schreiber and 2 they realized it wouldn't make much sense having Sabertooth working with Transigen. And they even thought of Magneto. But having X-24 made more sense due to him representing Wolverine's past during the Weapon X program.
While I don't think X-24 was the coolest villain, I do appreciate the fact that thought was put into the fact that neither Sabertooth nor Magneto would have worked with Transigen. It shows the people making this film actually cared about the characters and understood them.
I slightly disagree with Sabretooth not willingly working for Transigen. All they would have to do is make him like X-24 in this film and make him a mindless yet controllable creature.

Then there was Logans death and funeral. When Laura turned the cross into an X, i was done.... X-Men Days of Future Past is still the best superhero movie I've ever seen

Remember when Yukio prophesied that Logan would die covered in blood and holding his own heart? The heart is symbolism for Laura. Mangold confirmed it!
It’s a bit hard to put into words how I think Logan complements the beginning of his life after finding out that his father, growing up was not his real father. him, and the guy who plays his brother, never got to have a real childhood with their father, and instead spent their lives in and out of wars. Laura may have been created in a lab, but in some of her most needed moments, she was able to create a family for herself before it was taken from her. to complement this would be Logan joining the X-men before they started to die. In the week of being able to pass, Logan can now join those. He has lost over the years, while Laura was given brief time to spend with her father before his passing, unlike Logan with his, and go on to still have somewhat of a childhood because of her father sacrifice. Really can’t wait for your guys reaction to Deadpool and Wolverineits gonna be a blast 😂❤🎉
Idk if anybody said but wolverine can age. He’s about two hundred and a quarter in this movie 😂.Y’all saw what was really effecting him already so that’s why he looked even more rough.
As messy as the Fox's Xmen timeline was, Logan is canon and it is the canon ending to Logan as a character. The whole movie is set 5 years after the X-men Days of Future Past movie in the year of 2029. Logan is definitely one of the best comic book and a great end to the character. Luckily for us, Hugh Jackman is putting his claws back on for a little while longer (or for one more movie) to be in the MCU for Deadpool 3. Marvel Studios now owns Xmen, Fantastic Four, and Deadpool which were formally owned by FOX. They confrimed that they're getting Logan from a different timeline, so they won't touch the events of the Logan movie. From Ryan Reynolds "Logan takes place in 2029. Totally separate thing. Logan died in Logan. Not touching that."
I'm sorry, guys. This was definitely Not a Christmas movie. May I suggest, for your next Christmas. The #1 Christmas movie of all time..., "It's A Wonderful Life" 1946 starring James Stewart & Donna Reed, the B&W version. Yes, it will leave you in tears. But they will be tears of joy, and happiness.
I commend u for liking Dark Phoniex but trust me, people not liking that movie isn't blind hate. The dislike and hatred for it is very warranted and valid for many reasons. One of them is the fact that X-men Dark Phoniex is another bad adaption of The Dark Phoniex Comic storyline. The other is the writing and characters being horribly written with a lackluster story. It was those reasons alone that put the final nail to the coffin of the Fox's Xmen messy movies/timeline when Disney brought FOX. The MCU are going to most likely reboot the X-men
@@terrellthaddies7867 this opinion existed before the movie even came out. The movie was better than Endgame and absolutely shits on Captain Marvel, which Disney used to sabotage Dark Phoenix.
@@phoenixnuhl Most definitely not. A movie celebrating 10 years worth of the culminating of the story arcs in the MCU, is somehow a bad movie than a movie that shits on the X-men on the daily with another bad adaption to the Dark Phoniex Saga. The OG Xmen 90s animated series adapted that storyline better than its live action counterparts, now that is a shame. Dark Phoniex is objectively the worst X-men movie to be created from the fans of the X-men brand. The plot was that bad including most of the dialogues and character assassinations. I respect anyone for liking the movie but saying that it was better than Endgame and Captain Marvel of all movies, is just funny to me but to each their own Disney didn't sabotaged nothing just cuz Captain Marvel came out 1st. FOX did the changes off their own merit. Dark Phoenix was written and shot before the Disney/Fox merger was even announced. The merger was not completed and did not come into effect until March 20th, 2019. That’s after nearly everything, including the reshoots. If there was any work left to do, it’d be the very last of the CGI stuff being finished up. Disney had nothing to do with the movie except distributing it. Nothing about the core of the story would change the performances of the movie itself.
@@terrellthaddies7867 you are objectively wrong and factually incorrect. Dark Phoenix is leagues above origins wolverine, the actual worst x men movie, though still enjoyable. And Disney had fox change the ending to the movie because it was too visually similar to captain marvel, that’s why there were so many delays. Dark Phoenix has great acting and dialogue. It has the greatest action sequence in any comic movie besides like Logan too. The movie has bad rep because people buy into the hate blindly. Everyone I know that disliked dark Phoenix disliked it before even watching it. Ofc you’re not gonna like it, you already have it in your mind you won’t.
@@phoenixnuhl I wasn't blindly buying into any hate when I say Dark Phoenix is one of the worst comic book movies I watched. I can never understand this side of fanboyism . There are plenty of bad movie that I loved (Warcraft eg ) but I would never accuse people who hate them as "blindly doing it because thy were told to".

Got to think ever since he got into this World. Only has had to face Danger and Trouble. Find out his past. Yet, most of all he started to care for others but in the end they either turned on him. Then everyone one of them were Killed and Died. Doesn't want to part in that at all any more except caring for Xavier.
Hugh Jackson and Patrick Stewart both said that this would be their last X-men movie -- so as far as Marvel goes, this is the end of Logan and Professor X. Now Wolverine is going to be in the next Deadpool movie BUT it will be a prequel to this (Logan). It (Deadpool III) will be a movie before 2025 which is when Logan that's place. HOWEVER I fear that they will continue to push the James Macavoy and Micheal Fastbender line maybe even bring Wolverine back from the dead and continue the series, jump the shark, and degrade into B-movies status, with endless sequels.

X-24 actually can heal from that remember Logan was shot in the head in X-Men Origins Wolverine. He healed and was left a blank slate if the franchise continued and Hugh Jackman stayed on it probably would have continued with Laura and X-24 taking on the mantle of the fallenWolverine.
X-24 has a thinner covering of adamantium than Logan did. That’s why the adamantium bullet killed him, but was slowed down enough in Logan that it only causes him to lose his memory.

BTW Good call saying the limo looks like a Bentley , Chrysler got sued when they unveiled the Chrysler 300 (thr model the limo is based on) for looking too much like a Bentley product. Good eye.
This movie counts as cannon since the multiverse has been introduced...
Thank you Suzy & Steejo thank you I am glad ;you two seen this you too
Logan is definitely the darkest and grittiest comic book movie. I had never cried so much at the death of a superhero. And that was just Xavier's death. It was like a surreal nightmare. Then there was Logans death and funeral. When Laura turned the cross into an X, i was done....
X-Men Days of Future Past is still the best superhero movie I've ever seen
That's why they name this movie "Logan" so we can remember him forever its a farewel movie
This movie, you can see it as Canon, as the Fox’s Timeline’s Wolverine’s Death, Deadpool 3 will most likely earlier in the Timeline before this film, or apart of the MCU’s Timeline
Or both since they confrimed that Deadpool 3 is set within the MCU
After, and in an alternate timeline.
Hi Suzy And Steejo I enjoyed your reaction together to Logan I'm really sorry how Sad the ending turned out to be All of his fans wish it wasn't like that But at least Logan has a child Come on can't wait to see Your next reaction together also happy New Year🎆🎆🎆❤💙💚🥰
Remember when Yukio prophesied that Logan would die covered in blood and holding his own heart?
The heart is symbolism for Laura.
Mangold confirmed it!
🤦🏽♂️ the director is right about end credits… Disney got people fucked up
I will never fault anyone for loving Storm. She's always been a great character
The mutant kids couldve helped Logan and easily saved him, still an amazing film overall though
Wolverine does age just very slowly.
I'll always remember the line he always says to Logan...
Charles: your not the only one with gifts Logan
Rip professor x
We don't really say cinema. We usually say we're going to the theater. Maybe it's different in other regions.
The theater? That's interesting, we reserve "theater" for the place you see plays/pantomimes/opera/orchestras.
@@SuzySteejo- It applies to both in the U.S.
I'm sorry, guys. This was definitely Not a Christmas movie. May I suggest, for your next Christmas. The #1 Christmas movie of all time...,
"It's A Wonderful Life"
1946 starring James Stewart & Donna Reed, the B&W version.
Yes, it will leave you in tears. But they will be tears of joy, and happiness.
I never seen this movie, I'm glad I'm able to watch it with you guys
good movie , in my opinion . i loved to see you guys reactions
I love that you said the Phoenix one was really good cause I always feel like people shit on it for no reason. It’s one of my favourites.
I respect anyone for liking the movie but saying that it was better than Endgame and Captain Marvel of all movies, is just funny to me but to each their own
Disney didn't sabotaged nothing just cuz Captain Marvel came out 1st.
This is based on the "old man Logan " comic series
Remember Logan is over 300 years old, fought war after war. Conflict after conflict. I'd be over it too.
Not over 300. As of this film, he was 196. He was born in 1833 in this universe.
@@Zac_Frost sorry though it was 1700
@@Zac_Frost regardless. 200 years of fighting will still have a man begging to die
@@greatfox232 I mean, with his ability to heal, it could have been lol. Not wrong for assuming. I just remember having the opening of Origins: Wolverine burned into my brain because of how good it was... followed by how bad the rest of the film was. XD
@@Zac_Frost- Close. Born in 1832. He was 197.
Don't worry Steejo, I got your escargo joke.
But I thought it was funny when you said the albino helped kill all the mutants. I said to myself, nope, you'll find out soon what happened to them all.😉🤣
logan is by faaaaaaaaar the best men movie and one of the best comic/graphicnovel-adaption of all time, after watchmen. i´m really sad that you said "#notmywolverine" & "i hope this is not canon". i could not imagine a better ending for the whole wolverine movie story. (and we still get a deadpool 3 with wolverine!!! ^^)
of cause it is canon, why shouldn´t it be?
and "the batman" you mentioned at the beginning was awesome! totally differnet then the other batman movies but really good!
and i´m sad again because you said grave of the fireflies is awful. this is a really good movie too.
Oh no, you misunderstand. Grave of the Fireflies is an absolute masterpiece to us. It's just awful in the sense of the story because of how hard it hits you. I would NEVER insult that movie. :) - Suz
Woleverin does age. Just slowly
This movie was awesome but yet sad it’s was based off the old Logan comic books I love it and your reactions to it even tho Logan dies in this it was a awesome movie that was his last movie until the New Deadpool movie thanks to Ryan we get to see Hugh again as Wolverine.
12:11 Close, Suzy. Bristol, actually. That's Stephen Merchant, co-creator of The Office.

24:50 Don't worry I got your joke mate, RIP for our fallen comrade.
the film is 100% canonized. It's based loosely on the 'Old Man Wolverine" comic series.
Ya'll should've watched some of the X-Men cartoons on Disney + before watching this movie. It would've explained who the Terminator looking guys were. Also, here in the US we call them ( movies) as in, We're going to the movies.
He does age but very slowly
It's GREAT movie (And good ending could be boring; you can expect that most of american's movies would end good) .And the Grave of the Fireflies was also very good .
There's something funny about calling a Randy Orton look-a-like a Best Buy version of Brock Lesner
It is canon because the new Deadpool movie was based in the present, and Logan was based in the future
Deadpool is an alternative timeline in the multiverse.

@Suzy & Steejo you're both in luck, Deadpool 3 has just been confirmed and Hugh Jackman is returning to play Wolverine!! 😁😄
Same favorites wolverine and gambit, I can't wait to see them in the mcu
NO WAY! You didn't show us your reaction to what actually happened to all the mutants. Did you edit it out, or did you miss it? It was in the news report on the TV when they were in Oklahoma City. It was talking about how Charles killed almost all the mutants with his mind.
Just 7 of the X-Men, not all mutants.
WHY SO SERIOUS?
OOOPS. WRONG FLICK.
I WISH YOU BOTH GOOD FORTUNE IN THE WARS TO COME.
15:11 Was waiting for this joke.
There’s no post credit cause it’s supposed to be THE final act. All the x-men have died. And it was, the verse has ended. All remaining projects were in the past.
Laura actually used a fake accent for her English in this movie .Dafne Keen ( the kid who played her) have a British accent in real life.
She’s half Spanish. Born in Spain to a Spanish mother and English father.
Random guy: *lives in disgrace*
Common American: Why can’t you buy things???
Hugh jackman also had skin cancer at the time I believe great reaction 👌🏽and a great ending to his character.
X-24 actually can heal from that remember Logan was shot in the head in X-Men Origins Wolverine. He healed and was left a blank slate if the franchise continued and Hugh Jackman stayed on it probably would have continued with Laura and X-24 taking on the mantle of the fallenWolverine.
nope, that was the whole point of introducing the adamantium bullet. X-24 is dead dead.
X-24 has a thinner covering of adamantium than Logan did. That’s why the adamantium bullet killed him, but was slowed down enough in Logan that it only causes him to lose his memory.
@@Parallax-3D he's a perfect Clone of Wolverine he could heal the bullet does nothing to him. 24 could've survived it's not hard to believe I mean we know that before he was given the adimantiuum he was in every war in history and died multiple times so the same should go for his Clone
Professor X is the one that Killed the other mutants. His seizures did it.
Just 7 of the X-Men
