Reading updates, book recommendations for kids, finding cats in bookshops | belated reading Vlog 🍉

I have had this vlog in my phone for 2 months now and I couldn’t bring myself to post it as a genocide unfolds before our eyes.
I am praying and hoping for humanity to prevail and for a permanent ceasefire. My heart aches for all the souls lost and all those who are suffering. I would not have imagined that food, water, home and peace from 2 million people would be stolen in 2023. I thought we had learned. I thought we knew better but unfortunately we don’t. We have not learned anything from the past.
As the UN has a special emergency session invoked by article 377 tomorrow on the 12/12/2023, I pray for the freedom of Palestinian people and for an end to this occupation. I pray for peace in the region.
But here is a vlog which was to go up in the first week of October, but stayed in my phone for months. It still doesn’t feel right posting this, but I’ll post it so I can post more useful stuff moving forward. I know it’s been a hard time for everyone that has some humanity left in them but it has been far worst for the people who have been displaced, who are being starved, who are being bombed in Palestine as I write this.
