Again that 1800 sorta brings back alot of memories, althought our 1800 was a checker board model pullin 5 -18s,heat houser on it plowing in the Iowa snow at night,,the manifold was cherry red at night,,the muffler kept my gloves dried out ,,I'm 66 now and was very young driving it then and just remenber putting in those last plowing hrs that were needed to finish fall plowing ,that one had to do as it was needed to done before freeze up,,in the lite snow you can really see were you are going for sure at night as everything was white ,except your last pass that was black
Yeah, it rained again here today & half of last night too. Fields look like giants had a pissing match after the hail & torrential rain. About 2 pm my phone started vibrating & we had a Tornado warning! Don't usually get those this far north. After that the blackflies & mosquitoes came out in full force & you can't even breathe without getting a meal of the bastards. I like harvest season better. lol
I got soaked as well, sun shining and everything was going good, just got drill filled up and started at it again.. then it started getting dark and I quit drilling to put seed wagon in and as soon as I got rdy to go back to drilling, it cut loose
Instead of hanging each drag chains over the shaft for transport have you ever considered mounting hooks across the back. Looks like you could place a hook to be able to hang 3-4 together.
You got caught in the rain just like me this morning but I only had one round to go it quite just after I was soaked missed the bad rain almost an inch
Ahoj.
Seeding and planting time. Adrenaline keeps you going through the long hours. Looks like you're getting a lot accomplished. What's your row spacing on the beans?. My first seed drill was a MF33 single disk 7" spacing. I seeded at 14" rows. My last seed drill was a IH510 Doble disc with a IH5100 soybean special gauge wheels. 6" spacing and I seeded at 12" rows.

Ethan, at least you got one more field planted. Thanks Michael
Nothing like racing a storm front. A little rain never hurt anyone.
I sure do love the sound of the 66. Ever so sweet. Making headway is good. Thanks for sharing and I'll see you later.
Hello to you and your family 🙏. Glad to hear from you. Miss your videos. We been trying finish up planting too. Still got Cotton and Beans to go
Just enough moisture to be a pain in the a$$, lol. Keep em comin Ethan, enjoy the vids greatly 👌🏻🇺🇸💪🏻

Okay, I farm in northern Illinois,.
Just finished yesterday.
Hey Ethan,,seeds in are seeds in. Nicely done. Here in west central Wisconsin, we got frigging hammered yesterday (Tuesday).
I got soaked as well, sun shining and everything was going good, just got drill filled up and started at it again.. then it started getting dark and I quit drilling to put seed wagon in and as soon as I got rdy to go back to drilling, it cut loose
I've planted beans as low as 80,000 but I think 100,000 is the sweet spot for us. Just got to find what works for you.

No. Works fine the way I do it and I don’t have to drill holes in the box or create a trip hazard on the foot plank.
We had a lot of wind but no rain here Farm Boy. Hope that's not an omen!!
just in time ethan!
Saw that thunderstorm line up there, looked like quite a bit of rain.
You got caught in the rain just like me this morning but I only had one round to go it quite just after I was soaked missed the bad rain almost an inch
Another field done! Probably won't be enough rain to be worth anything but be annoying lol

Yup, that got interseting!
Ethan what does rolling the beans do? Just asking because I have never heard of that here in Maryland.
Did the property line issue get resovled
A few vids ago he went and showed us the servoy markers and it wasn't in the Feild
Have you ever entertained the idea of maybe getting a better more modern drill?
There’s nothing wrong with the one I have now. And it’s paid for.
He would probably take a new one if you buy it for him
