@@srenchristiansandvold6196 had a look at my smoke detector. It’s on mains electricity. I cleaned and vacuumed it. Hopefully that will sort it. Working on some components at the moment for the tiger. More video updates soon.
I collect other scales too down to 1/56th scale. Most things applied to big scale translate down to smaller scales soon. Hope you continue to watch my channel. More soon.
If you mean the action figures in the turret. Yes all is 1/6 scale. Not everything is in the turret yet. When the gun and recoil unit in place it will be a lot less space.
Absolutely LOVE all the intricate working details you put into these....a man after my own heart! BUT absolutely hate that sodding beeping! Its in every one of your videos, how do you put up with it? Its mains powered smoke or CO2 alarm battery back up telling you the battery needs replacing. We have the same ones and my Mrs started walking round the house looking for which one of ours was beeping when I was watching your 1st vid!! I had to tell her it was the video and then I've had to watch all your other vids with the sound down. PLEASE sort it out, would love to keep watching but that irritation is making it VERY difficult to do so.
Sorry about the beeping. I get so wrapped up in the work I don't notice it and usually have machines or TV in background covering it up. Microphones do pick it up and amplify. It has been sorted out for next and future videos.
It's a pity they need to be expensive but at this scale there is no way round it. The early Tiger I am working on was not expensive as I picked up many of the components from the factory parts bins. I was able to order some components that I couldn't make myself from Armortek. I had a spare set of tracks that I bought cheap. All my other tanks were bought second hand apart from the Panzer IV. Some were in a poor state but the components could be disassembled easily and brought back to new condition with a little effort. used or part completed models sell at reasonable prices and can be a hobby project that keeps you entertained for years.
@16rctankworkshop-yv8kl yes, I guess the second hand market is our best friend, even in a bad state you can still bring them to proper working order Unfortunately, for someone living outside UK the taxes and shipping are huge deterrent too There's also the scratch build way, provided you have the tracks at least, those are the most difficult part when starting a tank project
Hi, These are the tracks supplied by Armortek. The late Tigers date back to a 2007 release of the model. I don't think Armortek have changed the supplied track since. I believe same tracks for all. An aftermarket supplier produced a steel track with chevrons but these would be way outside my budget.
Beautiful work!

I know that they are expensive, but the build is worth every penny. I'm putting the finishing touches to a Stug at the moment.
@@MrKurt888 Hi, thanks for subscribing. Good value when you think of the time you can put into it. Better than a few plastic kits. Years of tinkering.
Very nice work, I'm building the Panther 44 at the moment
I would love a panther. Need to make space for one.
omg awesome just awesome work.....amd my be a stupid question are the figs to scale as if yes more room than I would of thought

Nice detailing. I'm currently 3D printing a 1/6th KV-1 tank, but I would love to buy an Armortek Pershing.
Thanks for subscribing to the channel.

Nice tanks, too bad the prices restrict many people from coming to the hobby

Yes, it’s got more expensive since UK left EU.

I would love a T34 but Armortek only made 1 small run of models so they are quite rare.

Put a battery in your smoke detector.
