Awesome idea for a show! Imagine this: OT Dawand Jones 6'-8"- 375 pounds and OT Tyler Guyton 6'-8", 322 pounds as the Browns bookends. The buffet is open! What is great about both boards, is none of these players are needed to get meaningful snaps this year sort of like DT Siaka Ika, DE Isaiah McGuire, and WR Cedric Tillman were used last year. Get a year of developmental, provide depth, get in the rotation some, and plan for the future. When was the last time this attitude was mentioned for Cleveland?
Awesome graphics Josh. Simplified the whole show!
Thanks Barry! The Browns are doing what good teams do, and so many people seem to be missing it. We used to need our 5th rounders to be instant starters. Now we don’t even need our 2nd rounders to start. And I know Guyton will probably go in the 1st round, but when he was on the board at 54, I couldn’t pass him!
Its been a long time since we had this attitude, blows my mine that people still doubt Berry. I added some big boys and some thumpers, cheers
Great job on the side by side draft graphics
Thanks!
The more I do mocks the more I feel like there is great value with a trade back of 54 to 65-80 range and increasing the position of 156 or 206.
Totally agree. 85 to 156 is a huge stretch and there will be tons of good players at 54. Yes, move back 10 spots and get another pick somewhere in that gap.
100% agree
Agreed hope we slide back like 10 picks and maybe another 4th or maybe a 3rd. No one truly knows what the value could be worth !
That was a fun show. When you got to the end, I looked at your picks at each round and chose between each and ended up agreeing on three from each of you.
GO BROWNS!
Thanks! Which 3 from each?!
i'm interested to know what combo of our picks you picked
I had the toughest time picking at 85 because I really like Allen. Watched him at Wisconsin several times and he really stood out as a guy I would like to see on the Browns.
54 Tyler Guyton
85 Mason Smith
156 Tip Reiman
206 Edefuan Ulofoshio
227 Eric Watts
243 Luke Reimer
@@kevincolonel3070 it be a great day if that was our draft. By picking Allen, I am also betting on Duce to develop him.
Coker at pick 156 is great value. I don’t care what the board says
Did that for you, my man 😎
I am going to go with the mock on the right.
I see value in all 6 picks.
I don’t see anything in Eric Watts. I do like the late RB Vidal pick.
Score one for the Canadian!
Love the direction of the mock. I truly think fans are underestimating the idea of drafting an offensive lineman in the 2nd. I think guard makes sense. Bitinio did miss a few games last year and is starting to get up there in age, and realistically one or both of the guards could be gone in 2025. They need to have depth there for injury and get cheaper. If you listened to AB talk, finding and replacing good oline via trade mid season is damn near impossible to do.
I know many ppl want a wr and I get it, makes sense. Unless there is someone there they love, I think 3rd round or 4th (pending a trade back) is a possibility. Its a deep class and they dont need to find a guy to contribute significant snaps this year.
The wild card to me is RB. Benson is the only one I would consider in round 2. I see too much Breece Hall in his game and he would fit like a glove in this scheme. Provide an excellent 1-2 punch and allow you to grind teams and wear them down if you want to but provide a true three down player for years to come. Explosive as hell too. I think we can all agree that this is probably Chubb's last year. I think getting a tandem incase Chubb is washed makes sense. There is no way they can think a room with Foreman Ford and Hines will be enough to get this team to where it wants to be.
I think theyre going to target a gadget type wr in the mid rounds to take the top off a defense and contribute on ST. LB is also a need because they're one injury away from being a bottom 5 unit. I'll be looking forward to seeing how they address that. Its probably a position they wait on imo. I think pairing a rook with JOK for next 4-5 would be fantastic, they always seem to be looking elsewhere.
I agree with all of that. I’m so excited to see how the Draft plays out and who we add to this already competitive roster.
I’m starting to think 54 could be used on a TE now. Because it’s David Njoku and who else? I think sanders is the pick if available. I was thinking more than likely OL or WR but my tune has changed
But if the right trade is offered to move down I wouldn’t be opposed to us doing that
Kenny Mac will love that haha but I agree, TE could be a huge problem if we don’t address it. (Josh) my personal favorite is Ben Sinnott or Erick All.
my man, I have been banging that drum for a while
@@TheDawgsPodcast I think with a Ken Dorsey offense and the way the bills played they played a lot of 12 personnel and they loved using 2 TE’s but they would have a TE lining up in the slot at times, which sanders fits that mold more than the others. The only one that really is similar to sanders later in the draft is Mclachlan from Arizona
@@gagetucker3656 great point
If we’re looking for good value late in the draft for RB, may I bring up Carson Steele from UCLA. He’s a hard nosed downhill runner with good hands out of the backfield. 6”1, 225 pounds. Has 26 rushing TD’s in career, to go along with 4 receiving TD’s (30 in total). Originally played at ball state first 2 years, transferred to UCLA this past season. Had over 1,500 yards in 2022. 0 fumbles in college. RAS score is a 7.59. He’s 21 years old
You may 100% bring up Carson Steele. That’s a great example of why, while it would be fun to get a Trey Benson or one of the higher ranked RBs, there will some very capable and contributing RBs found in the late rounds and UDFA market this season.
@@TheDawgsPodcast in 2022 Steele was 2nd in the nation behind Bijan Robinson in forced missed tackles. He will be a day 3 pick. He’s a big bruising back but has very good elusiveness in short yardage areas
@@TheDawgsPodcast I feel like Carson Steele is D'Onta Foreman
coker: 4.57 40 hard pass!
Never would have known who he was until a dawg pack member brought him up.
DeAndre Hopkins ran a 4.57…
Davonte Adams ran a 4.56…
Mike Evans rams a 4.53…
You can’t just look at one thing and make a complete determination about a player.
@@TheDawgsPodcast Luke McCarfrey was there. I'll take 2nd generation NFL WR traits all day long right there. Bad Pick IMO.
@@user-kk6mx9wf8c I'll have to look more into McCaffery, Just didn't do the research on him
I've listened to analysts pretty low on McCaffrey, just saying he's very much a developmental receiver.
Take Wright from TN as RB at 85, not Allen!
Personally, I love Jaylen Wright. I also think Tyrone Tracy could be a later round sleeper. But Kenny likes Allen, and there are definitely analysts who have him at the top of this RB class.
I took him for short yardage and red zone so basically replacing Kareem. I wanted the biggest back to run at the Steelers and the Ravens. I would have traded back for a lot of the picks I took. I wanted something different than what we have. B/R pro comparison was Pierre Strong Jr so I passed.
@@TheDawgsPodcast Tracey is intriguing, the consensus is great RAS but poor Vision for the RB position, slot receiver maybe or maybe just the right coaching??
Great show - like your draft better, and as you know "speed kills" (especially if a team ends up in a doomed home stadium...).
Fumbles to much.
I really enjoy your UA-cam podcasts but I would like to note that we are stacked on offense and defense but with a couple of tweaks they could boast a generational defense that would take us to the promised land,we are all in for this coming season and should pick accordingly instead of this lets look three four years down the road. Guys this is probably my last year as a fan after more than fifty as a fan no I'm not quitting them but I do have a terminal illness and I'm hoping to see them finally make it to the bowl.GO BROWNIES 🤎🧡🤎🧡🤎🧡
We’ll keep you and your health in our prayers! It’s such an amazing time for Browns fans as we are finally doing things good teams do. The season could start tomorrow, and we already have a quality 53-man roster ready to go. They can draft BPA all weekend to just further bolster this roster. Let’s hope 2024 is the year we stay relatively healthy! Go Browns!!!
Thx for watching, All in and get it done!! We will be praying for ya and we want you to see that championship!! What players would you add with the picks we have or what tweaks would you make?
@@kennymac4445 honestly I would add a linebacker and an interior defensive lineman before addressing the offensive line and bring in a developmental wr.with the linebacker position devalued there's going to be really good talent falling into the later rounds edgerrin cooper, Cedric Gray, Junior colson, and jaylon Ford on the d-line you got mckinnley Jackson and mekhi wingo and tyler Davis on the offensive line you got Zak zinter, javion Cohen and layden Robinson and as far as an RB maybe will Shipley or jaylen wright, I mean remember we brought in two rbs in free agency and Chubb will be back of course they'll monitor his carries but the roster is loaded. There are a couple tight ends I'd consider you guys mentioned one in your mock drafts that sounds like a beast then you have spanner-ford and barner. There are going to be some undrafted wide receivers worth taking a look at one by the name of Tipton out of Toledo I think and there's a cornerback out of Louisville that athlon has ranked as the 24th best cornerback and he's got the coolest name for a team playing it's home games on the shore of lake Erie drum roll please he is STORM DUCK. LoL thats his name
@@jamesseiler39 those are all great names, Gray and Colson are beasts. Both Josh and I would love to have Cohen on the team, and Storm Duck, that is wild. He looks like a hard hitter.
@@kennymac4445 he brings the lumber when he lays a hit on. LoL
