What is the process for spouse outside the usa ? And marrying a usa citizen, how will it be impacting the timeline for green card and citizenship status for them ?
Hey there, I really appreciate your work! And I really need your expert opinion. I came to the US on a J1 visa (subject to the 2-year home residency rule) and later switched to F1 status, which I’m currently on. Do I still need to fulfill the 2-year requirement, or can I apply for a green card through marriage to a US citizen? I’d really appreciate your advice on this. Thanks for your time!

Hello Pouyan. Thanks so much for this video. I submitted i-130 (online filing) in September 2022. Rest of the concurrent filing in April 2023. Biometrics completed in June 2023. Now for every application the status is 'Taking longer than usual'. Is this normal or do I need to contact USCIS?
I'm sorry you're going through this. Contacting USCIS is useless. Everything is just taking longer. You have to keep waiting and there is nothing useful that you can do at this stage.
@@DarianLaw Thanks so much for the response Pouyan. Really appreciate it Sir! That's what I have been reading on a lot of other blogs / articles. I'll keep waiting and hope for the best. Thanks a gain for all you do. 🙏🏻
Why don't you file online instead of mailing?
