Love watching the purge I wish more people would do purge videos because it’s a necessity in life to cull when you’ve amassed too much of a collection and figure out which items longer spark as much joy or whatever. Very satisfying and balanced

Hi Olivia I've been a subscriber to your channel for a few years, I have to say, I love all of your content. I applaud you for being so honest about all sides of collecting. I have been collecting squishmallows for a couple of years, just the dog ones. I collected over 80 in all different sizes, some 24". I loved them all but man they take up so much room! So at New Year I decided to sell them all, I then started collecting the squishville dogs instead! They take up next to no room in comparison and are so much cheaper. I can relate so much to your reasons for downsizing. I personally love the squish hunting videos, whether you buy any or not, it doesn't matter to me. I'm obsessed with the toki doki and enamel pin videos too. The majority of people here just love watching your videos no matter what the content, we are here to support you. You carry on being your amazing authentic self ❤

Happy Easter!! Olivia I understand how hard it is to make those choices on collecting and kids. My husband and I went through the same thing. We had to pause awhile on collecting but now the kids are older we are getting back to it a bit more. We all love you passion for all of it but you do what’s best for you and we will all still love you!! Happy Easter again!!!!
I’m 26 years old currently and have a one year old. As a former squish and Pokémon card collector it was hard to part with what you collect as it’s something that you’re passionate about and it sparks joy. I kind of had to stop cold turkey as I was pregnant and had to prep for baby so maybe that made it easier for me in a sense. But, I think slowly purging the stuff out and setting a goal for yourself of starting a family will be super helpful during this journey! I love all the content you put out and I can’t wait to see what else you put out once Brandon and you start a lil family!!! ❤️

I’m financially okay and being me I’d rather get rid in BULK then taking time to help make a few more dollars by selling online. When squishmallows first came out I agree it was all about the hunt. You can tell that they don’t have a big following anymore as there is an abundance everywhere. I was in Walgreens yesterday and they had 25% off squishmallows. I just picked up camp snoopy. I have quite a lot I wish I never had bought. I wish there was meets near me.
I don’t think theres meets near me either and I’ve also noted an overstock of squishmallows in most stores and they’re going to clearance every season/drop
I respect your decision to change the way you collect to suit the life you want to lead. That is so smart and should be applauded!👏👏👏 I am thankful to not be limited on space I don't think I could handle trying to narrow down what squishmallows I would want to keep or get rid of. 😅
I'm in the process of giving away majority of my collection too. It's hard getting rid of something I once loved so much but seeing how happy it makes other people makes me feel better about doing it!

I’ll still watch your videos! You have great content, especially love the pins and tokidoki unboxing. You don’t have to buy Squish to enjoy finding them or creating content. ^__^ I see lots of Squish in my hunts that I don’t buy. It’s a really weird opinion for people to have that you shouldn’t create the squish content if you don’t buy. People like me still like to see what you find. I’m sorry if anyone made you feel bad about that. And, I’m currently on a Squish purge and selling on mercari. I’m also trying to limit myself as well because I only have so much room and enjoy other things like blind boxes. Thank you for sharing with us. ❤ Will still continue to watch.

I'm also trying to do a big purge of squishmallows, my goal is to go down to one cubby / bookshelf from two. Hoping to get rid of most of them via Mercari or trades by the summer before I just donate them all because even at super low prices, selling squishmallows has been hard due to the decrease in hype over time. I definitely got addicted to the "hunt" during 2020-2021 and would just buy anything I found mildly cute or would fit with the aesthetics of my collection rather than thinking about what I really wanted. I counted about 300 in my collection which genuinely shocked me since I mostly have clips, 5 inches and 8 inches and doesn't take up that much space. I've always loved plushies and I've always been able to pick 1 or 2 from a specific brand and be satisfied but the initial quality and reasonable pricing of squishmallows made it so easy to justify buying many in a short amount of time. Since 2023, I've been limiting myself to 1 or 2 per season and it's really helped in terms of the buyers remorse. Now I'm focusing my collection on bats, sanrio and pokemon. Squish meets haven't been super helpful since in my experience most people are looking for DISOs, trades or to get rid of their own collection so selling seems to be a last resort for most people attending but I hope you get rid of a good chunk!

Hey Olivia, just wanted to let you know that you are so brave for doing this. It took me a long time to start getting rid of my squishmallows so I am very proud of you. I also want to ask a question where are you going to do the squish meat because I want to go in try to purchase the Ada cow!

Olivia, I usually don't comment but I have been watching you for quite a while. I haven't been doing very well financially so I understand what exactly is going on, I don't even earn a lot in the first place and I can't really justify overpaying for something to get it shipped to a third-world country where I live, so I'd say that i understand a lot of how you're feeling, and I'd say that at one point it is good to have just an "image" of what you love, for example if you invest in a printer and print out some cards of your favorite squishmallows to keep them in your binder or diary then it would save a lot of space and money, but it would still make you have that little image that you love next to you. kind of almost like memories. maybe at one point i'll do this practice myself to see if it's ever better for my wallet and living space. take care!!

There is definitely ways to save in collecting, my videos leave a permanent impression I can always reflect on even if I’ve parted with the squish.
I haven't bought not one squishmallow yet this year and probably won't until maybe Halloween

I actually just sold a bunch of squish and bumbumz. I'm pretty happy with my current collection. I have things in the basement waiting for the next meet but I price my stuff cheap so I end up selling a decent amount everytime which is nice.
That's the goal here! It's that time of year to start letting things go.

I'm so sad that you're selling all of your squishmallows. For many reasons. That makes the squishmallows I have which is many aren't worth anything anymore and that the popularity of them is over. That breaks my heart. I guess I won't be watching your videos anymore.
