For max setup I went with 7 Echoing Sculkshelves, 3 Draconic Endshelves, 1 Beeshelf, 1 Geode-Encased Bookshelf of Stability and 1 Deepshelf of Arcane Treasures, giving 100/100/100 and 8 clues, but you can add some Hellshelves of Masterful Sight if you really want more clues. This makes it much more compact leaving a lot of space for Seashelves of Aquatic Filtration which let you place Enchanted Books in them to filter out the enchantments that you don't want.
great video! yes i want to see all the best enchants to get on the tools! i also want to see how to use the gems socketed on armor and the best way to get them!
About; 02:55 You should be able to send Redstone Signals to the levers on the Mob Farm wirelessly. - There is an item named "Redstone Remote" from "Redstone Pen" mod, that you can connect with the levers. - Also RF Tools - Screen System with a "Button Module" upgrade (And a Text Module) and redstone receivers inside on top of the spawners will get you a very nice looking setup. As far as I know RF Tools is already in the pack, are the Screens not updated yet?
Yeah the redstone remote only works on a single lever though. I’ll look at rf tools, but for the most part a single lever redstone signal wouldn’t be enough.
Great tutorial, thanks! All those different bookshelves are intimidating at first glance. Any tips on how to automate removing enchantments from gear and into enchanted books in ATM 10? I haven't figured out a simple way yet. It would synergies super well with this
RE: Wireless signal. This is not correct. The mod that has the redstone pen also has a remote, which you assign to a lever to flick on and off. The redstone pen lets you do redstone vertically and even upside down. You can use the redstone pen to run lines of redstone down each spawner row, place a lever on top, assign a remote to the lever and you're good.
@@JohnHall3 Yeah. With the redstone pen, make sure to double click the center point. It will make a larger dot there. That ensures that centrepoint will apply a full redstone signal, rather than a degraded signal. Mostly only an issue as you get further away though. In one playthrough I did, I used spawner silos. + shaped layout of spawners, with the middle being redstone with the pen, going up like 10 spawners high, with spawn range reduced to 1, and the mob mashers directly underneath. It worked well.
Idk if it has changed or not but there’s a weird thing about the library. Unless it has been changed for the newer version you can’t pull out a fortune 4 from the table unless you have had a fortune 4 in it before going all the way up to fortune 7. So no matter how many fortune 3’s you put in unless a fortune 4 or higher book goes in it won’t let you pull it out at 4.
Update to comment: I've been working so I haven't had time to test it and was just able to. You have to put an enchant of a certain tier to be able to pull it out. Ex. If you put in 4 fortune 3 books the highest you can pull out is still only fortune 3. If you played ATM8 it still works the same way where you'll have to upgrade each enchant in an anvil to max tier.
Never messed with the mod but I always assumed that you wanted to have lower quanta I thought it had more chances to give bad enchants and curses. I feel like I assumed wrong now correct?
It just makes the good and bad enchants higher levels. So if you use the library and just pull out whatever you want then you don’t have to worry about the bad ones at all.

i found out you can also use candles and mob heads to improve quanta and arcana. it helped me out very early in the game
Great advice!
@@JohnHall3 thanks man, your vids are awesome and very informative
u can use the mod redstone pen for a wireless lever, its like a remote control
Yes but it just works for a single lever though I believe.

I’ll test some things out but I don’t have a good way yet either

Oh really, that’s a great idea! So I can run red stone in the side/ front and then assign it to one lever on the top?

10/10 Thank you so much!
Thanks! I was looking yesterday and glad I came across this now!
Thanks!

Please correct this if it has been changed just incase people get confused after watching the video or reading my comment
I’ll test this. I think you might be right but I thought it combined them.
@@JohnHall3 You’re probably right and that it’s been changed. I just remember in ATM8 it being an annoyance

YESS!! Thank you!!! Love the videos, keep it up!

Thank u so much and keep it up
Yes! I will make a video about this soon!
uhm you know you can just craft pufferfish like 4 sticks and any kind of fish in the middle
Well… no I didn’t know that. Good to know though! Thanks!
New enchanting now. Is there a max max
This is the best set up. Each enchant also has higher levels as well

@ Ahh I see it just makes them higher level not more frequent. Thanks!
