- Mosconi sinks six balls with one shot. "I taught Bill Cullen to do the trick I just did." Afterward, Mosconi runs the table and then does the "railroad shot," in which the cue ball rolls up and down the two troughs formed by three cues.

Willie was the best.
This was a very popular TV show. It was regular entertainment for our family.
To top it off,he never did miss at 526,he got so tired he had to stop!! 35 racks without a miss, has to be the best ever...although I did hear Ralph Greenleaf was a terror...
He uses a short, abbreviated and accurate stroke, unlike many of today's players. It's a short stroke, yet relaxed. Amazing.
Willies suit was immaculate.
Greatest "I've got a secret" secret. They had a 90 year old man who was in "Fords Theatre" the night Lincoln was shot.
+vic vega REALly! Imagine being that guy!
Oh Yes. I just recently saw that. Amazing.
The Godfather of billiards!
Fast Eddie Felson was pretty good also. An often left out of great pool shooter conversations. Also i new him an he was a good man god rest his soul.
legend!!!
He was the best of all time still. There are other greats like Efren Reyes for instance, but Willie seemed so natural around a pool table. He seemed to play effortlessly.
WOW....!! Since I was a kid I wanted to see the great Mosconi play. I had read his unattainable exploits in a book. Is it possible to watch full world championship matches with this legend and other players like him? It would be a great gift for many people who love this game. Anyway thanks.
Awesome video. Thanks for sharing.
And this is a “retired” Mosconi.
Hi cue stick stroke is so smooth and amazing!
Smoking on TV... : ) that's quite awesome.
At 7:00:
"Your record run is five hundred and how much"?
Willie Mosconi: "Five hundred and twenty six".
Oh my god!
Excellent!
True legend! Great video.. What was the show called?
Any one ever watched the original Twlight Zone? Rod Serling was always smoking.
That stroke ...
Beautiful :)
Wow has times changed.. Can you imagine a national broadcaster smoking a cigarette on national television? Crazy
Though not now, Johnny Carson smoked on every show. It wasn't a big deal in those days.
Smoking on tv was allowed until about the late 80s.
not the first to say but, smoking as a host? lol
Greenleaf was the best at all games of his time while Willie won 1 more title in straight pool...which was his game. Nobody would dominate today as all of the players are too good.
Mrs. Voorhees was very pretty back then.
The show was called, "I Got A Liverwurst".
Anyone can make a set up shot.
who cares if the guys smoking
Willie is the best. 😮 I didn't know that Freddy. 😅
