Great channel
How can anyone compare Drake to Kendrick 🤦🏽♂️… or even say they are in the same league …
No fr cuz where is drake Pulitzer Prize?
Kendrick was spotted at a march in Compton though, and not for clout but was wearing a mask and incognito but someone recognized him and snapped a pic. This was in 2020 and part 5 released 2022
maybe thats why he didnt feel the need to say anything
When you mentioned his First sentence “I am” in comparison to the scripture “I am the way, the truth, and the life” I think that really resonates with Kendrick’s writing style. He’s not afraid to shine light on the harsh TRUTHS that we experience throughout life. That everyone else knows but chose not to acknowledge. I think thats why a lot of people love his work because it’s so honest and in a way honorable. Beautifully done. Love this video ❤️
that is a really good point of view! i completely agree
Also him using himself as vessel to share other Black men stories is Gold. People needed to see their perspectives! People needed to see their truths. Like you said with Nipsy it’s almost like he’s Channeling him. That’s true connection.
@@icessramos8812 I completely agree with the sentiment that Kendricks use of himself as a vessel to share the stories and perspectives of Black men is a powerful tool.. By channeling the experiences and struggles of others through his music, he's able to shed light on important social and cultural issues that might not otherwise receive the attention they deserve.
In many ways, Kendricks work is reminiscent of the African American oral tradition, used as a means of passing down stories and cultural knowledge from one generation to the next. By continuing this tradition in a modern context, he helps to preserve and elevate the voices of Black men and their experiences while creating a greater sense of cultural awareness and understanding. its art at its finest 🖤
@@RealSpacial You Betta talk your isshhh king!!!! So so true that’s why Kendrick will forever be Goated 👑

thanks for watching brodie 🔥🔥 i just put out a new video today if you wanna check it out 🙏🏾
First of all great video!
Imo heart part 5 is also about kendrick finally accepting his own mortality, if you're an avid fan of kendrick's music, you might know he's super scared of passing away as it's expressed in tracks like SAMIDOT, Mortal Man, FEAR. And heart part 5 also serves as a closer to MMATBS as it shows how much he has learnt so far in his musical career. Again this is just my interpretation, I'm not saying kendrick isn't talking about other famous black figures here but if you just take the video out and focus on the lyrics. You'll find out he's talking about himself here.
Especially the last verse
"I want the hood to want me back" to "I want you"
Now I know people are gonna say, “isn’t this just about Nipsey Hussle?”, of course it is. He’s in the music video for a reason, however the music video also shows the face switching between Nipsey and Kendrick and infact it ends off with kendrick saying the final lines. The reason behind this is, he has looked towards saviours in the past (tupac in Mortal Man) similarly to how we view him and how he views Nipsey, and as powerful as it is to embody their message - the final message must come from you.
Also, great production on this video! Love the editing.
great culmination to a great series
thanks bro 🔥
Yessir💯💯🔥🔥

Yes👏🏿
yes indeed
The intro's on these are dripoing with as much style of the artists you talk about!
Mind if I ask about your upload schedule? How long you take to make a video, anything that goes into the process.
these days i try to get a video out every 3-4 weeks since it takes so long 😅 && it usually takes about a month of researching, writing, designing, and editing to get these out
thanks for watching btw! i think this is the second time i’ve seen your comments 💪🏾
Do mention it bro, i just love learning from superstars like yourself 💫
@@thaaabs_ much love bro 🖤🔥
Loved the video. You definitely will blow up. A lil feedback: maybe reverb-ing every lyric snippet can be replaced with other transitions? It sure got a lil repetitive. And you're probably using AI to seperate just the vocals from the track. This is almost never perfect and sounds janky as it is. If I had your voice, I'd probably just quote the lyrics myself. Loved the analysis. Subbed.
i can definitely see it getting repetitive, it was more of a stylistic choice tbh but noted ✍🏾 Maybe Ill give voicing the lyrics a try for one of my future videos. Thanks for watching and subbing, glad to have you here 🔥
Wildly enough I feel like Drake doing the heart 6 ironically goes with what you said
wow
whats your favorite heart part?
We all caught up with the cookies now, let’s move on to some pie bruh.

I think I fucking love you
🫶🏾 thanks for watching
Is it just me or when Kendrick turns into Kanye, he kinda sounds like him a bit?
I’m only 2 minutes in wussup with the life is perspective tatto then show a hustle like u broke tattoo were u just referring to his arm
Still need a lucki video
I didnt forget about you bro 🤝🏾
First
👀🏆
i feel like you missed the mark a tiny bit. i think the main message is setting an example through nip and kobe. while its all perspective i do believe he’s trying to convey a culture problem within the black community. being that he has experienced the desensitization to murder, drugs, etc. he’s rewarding the leadership of kobe and nipsey in the resolution and encouraging a mirroring of more of that behavior in his communities whilst taking a stand and becoming one of those influential figures over time. not a bad review just feel like this message is the key takeaway for me.
so you just missed the line “fuck calling it the culture. Hurt people, hurt people” why would a song about how its all perspective being telling you to subscribe to any one of them?
Way to culminate a great series 🫶🏽 thank you for sharing this with us
🙏🏾🖤
