- Take a front row ride on Taiga, a double launch Intamin Blitz Coaster that opened at Linnanmäki in Helsinki, Finland in June 2019. Taiga also features 4 inversions throughout 3,622ft of track with the coaster having a maximum height of 170ft.

I live in Finland and this is my favourite ride here. Its awesome that we have here in Finland few coasters like this, even that our parks are open only 5 months. Our coasters sadly dont like winter, so after like 5 years every new coaster is pretty rough :(
Ozquz not always rough because they sometimes get maintenance
Thunderbird is aging very well, Junker is one of the smoothest Gerstlauer around, Vuoristorata is also very smooth considering its age... and I dont even mention Taïga, which has just a small rattle during the turnaround after the twisted hill. Otherwise it's smooth as silk !

No lie this looks like the best blitz ever built imo.
It really is a great ride! I visited Helsinki to run a marathon almost two years ago and spent about half a day at this park - practically no lines for anything so I rode this a few times! Watching this vid makes me miss Finland a little.

It looks really slow on camera but I can assure you it's FAST my back hurt it's so intense (I'm young not like 80 so doesn't happen often

Hi, how they allowed you to film during the ride?
@@30bside23 My home park is Linnanmäki. I use chest mount and I got about a month ago a literaly filming permission from the park's employee which allowed me to film on any other ride than Taiga (and Linnanmäki don't allow any kinds of cameras on specific rides to be taken on the board without a filming permission).

@@mikekaraoke Because I want to know how Shawn could film this since the park's rules should not allow it even if you have a filming permission.
We had permission to film on Taiga from the director of the park.

Me too. Universal might give us something similar though... a blitz, but spinning. So basically like a Mack Extreme Spinner but it's an Intamin Muliti-Dimension Coaster
