I love that you didn't edit out the backlash, it only happens to me every once in awhile but I always feel like I'm the only one because you never see that on fishing videos. most everyone else won't show that. LOL
Tip from a Florida man who throws magnums regularly - use a 6/0 monster ewg by gamakatsu or the big 6/0 from VMC on the magnum. Hookup ratio greatly increases with the 6/0
Actually a great idea. I cannot tell you how many fish I have missed in the Tensaw using a speed worm with a 4/0. I thought I was just bad at setting the hook 😭
Another great speed worm is the Bass Assassin RSB worm. It’s a little more beefy when you want a bigger profile. Also Gambler reissued the Ninja Spin spinnerbait which is good option for grass flats. Enjoy your time in Florida and God Bless.
One of the most impactful fish that I ever caught bit on an zoom mag ultravibe speed worm junebug red. I was fishing in the Mobile Tensaw Delta, and I had only been fishing for about 8 months. Needless to say , I wasn't very good at fishing at the time. I was fishing a creek that had a lot of reeds and grass, and I had not caught a fish yet there. I came upon one of the only trees overhanging this creek and casted my speed worm under it. A bass struck it and I landed the fish, my first bass in like 3-4 months. That one fish taught me to look for irregular cover and solidified the speed worm as one of my confidence baits for the delta. From there my fishing improved trip after trip, and now I can sort of call myself and alright bass fisherman. For some reason, I cannot find my favorite worm in stores anymore
TX angler here. Thanks for the info! I have these in my tacklebox but knew for sure that I had no idea on the best way to use them. Now I know and I hope to post a video soon of using it!
Oh no!! The secret is out! I love a uvibe speed worm. Such an underrated bait but so versatile. Its nothing fancy but catches fish. You can use as search bait, target, burn as top water, fish the entire water column. For me in clearer water, green pumpkin or watermelon red all day. If bluegill are around then a little chartreuse on the tail is fire. Again great info Nathan.
Love the video Nathan. I’m in Florida for the next two months and didn’t have the success I was hoping for last year. Keep up the Florida videos full of tips and tricks and maybe, just maybe my luck will be better this year.
love how informative and how much knowledge u give out, but do you think there is anyway u can start a series of u just going fishing for the biggest bag possible? would love to see you break thee 30LB mark on camera. much love👍
This is going to happen this year now that I have a base on how to film and stuff I want to experiment with fishing videos where it’s my day on the water and I drop in information I’m learning while out there!
Thanks Nathan. Great lure, I use them alot. They also work on shaky heads and are a great trailer for chatterbaits and spinnerbaits, cut shorter of course. I hope your enjoying Florida!
Hey Nathan, when would you go to the Magnum size? Is there a certain time of year down in Florida you would use that? I’m coming to Orlando area from Va, in early March! Have a big pond in back yard from rented house and want to catch some nice bass. I’m starting with a chatterbait and have reg ultra vibes and Magnums, both in Junebug red. Thanks and awesome vids

They work for a lot of things!
I live in Orlando and the zoom speedworm is my confidence bait. I’ve also had big snakeheads in south Florida eat it as well.
It’s a great technique!
This is the exact bate. My dad has been using for the past 20 years.
I've always done really well in Istokpoga and other local areas with the watermelon red speed worm. One of the best soft plastics around here.
Absolutely!
Q-Looks like a great day on the water. Thanks for sharing
Thank you!
If you are fishing it on top you need the tail pointing up too keep the tail from coming out of the water
Great video dude from Miami 🫡
That was my most successful bait last season for me in NY.
Awesome!
Nathan can you do lizards 🦎 zoom in Texas rig in lake please 🙏🏼
I could this year!
exact kind of cover that's on my lake and was looking to branch out from senkos.
Good luck!
I like the looks of the yum swimming dinger, you think I can work the same as what you did in this vid
Absolutely would!
Mmmmm I would have to throw a weightless fluke around there also. Wish I was on the back of the boat with you .Be safe catch em up.Thank you Nate
I got that video coming too!

Usually just to get a bigger bite!
Blue gill works good in florida to . Or any dark color works good in florida.
Absolutely!
Is this recommended for summer?
In my experience, it works no matter what season
i have a 6'6" med-heavy rod. What are the disadvantages of the shorter rod?
You can’t cast as far usually!
You said.. if you’re fishing up north the colors I like are like sungill, watermelon red…are you saying north Florida or north u.s.?
North us
For the magnum version of the worm would you still use the same size rod
Yep!
@@nathanquincefishing7122 ok thanks! 👊
That Zoom Magnum Speed Worm is clone of the Netbait Mega Bopper Worm.
It still gets hung up the grass down here is ridiculous and the lillipads always gets caught
OMG send me some of those weights please lolol
Nathan how are you losing all your weight? You get a new girlfriend?..
