Surah Ar-Rahman (Arabic: الرّحْمنن) is the 55th chapter of the Qur'an. This surah is classified as a makkiyah letter, consisting of 78 verses. Named Ar-Rahmaan which means "The Most Gracious" comes from the word Ar-Rahman which is found in the first verse of this surah. Ar-Rahman is one of the names of Allah. Most of this surah describes the mercy of Allah swt. to His servants, namely by giving infinite blessings both in this world and in the hereafter.
The hallmark of this surah is the 31-time repeated Fa-biayyi alaa'i Rabbi kuma tukadzdzi ban (So which of the favors of your Lord do you deny?) which is located at the end of each verse that describes the gifts that Allah has given to humans.
