You can still use it but there are many other alternatives that last longer and are less wasteful than some lip mask… hell even facemasks sheets are unnecessary and wasteful and yet they’re normalised. To be thinking that getting all these products is self care is a lie, the business is getting advantage of us by advertising it as "self care", content creators or influencers are a big part of this too since they're the best marketing strategy for businesses, so sometimes they get sponsored doing these aesthetic videos, which are most of the time really hard to imitate in real life without getting you broke. We can enjoy this kind of videos, don't get me wrong, but we seriously need to differentiate between what's important and what's not and be more responsible with our money.
