My mother-in-law kept her rotary phones on the wall even after the push button ones came out. She also had a “thing” for phones. There is an old fashioned bar phone that still hangs on her basement wall! It’s so funny how things catch you in the feels sometimes. As soon as I saw the sneak peek of the kit over on IG, I thought of her. She LOVED people and as such, she LOVED to talk. As a SAH wife and mom her entire adult life, the phone was a friend to her. We built our home right next door to her. She would watch for my children’s bedroom lights to go off, knowing I had put them to bed for the night, then she would call me. She was my greatest encourager during the years while I raised my babies. And she was an amazing grandmother to them. I was incredibly blessed by her and I deeply miss her warm hugs and incredible wisdom. Who knew an old fashioned telephone could make a person laugh and cry all at the same time! Lol! Thanks for the unboxing Tina! Yours are always my favorite!
