because they suck...Leverty is technically proficient, but they can't write a good song to save their live. That and the fact that all their over produced schlock is stuck in a 1988 hairspray can = boring music.
I got a chance to meet bill in the 9o's i believe in sarasota at a club off beeridge and tuttle . small bar he was jammin out , gave me autograph for a friend of mine in ohio another great guitar player John ,, Dj Dan from cabana 91-2005.... Bill you are really cool thx.
So he uses a harmonizer effect on the intro to Reach For The Sky. I thought that was just a 12-string acoustic plugged straight into the mixing board. Must've been a nightmare for his tech to maintain all that rack equipment.
There were s ton of great bands all playing great rock and roll and then out of nowhere (Seattle actually) that shit called grunge got more attention than it should have. These guys and others are still around but the same can't (thankfully) be said about Cobain and friends.
agree. that thing called grunge is real shit. since then the mainstream music is even worse. you can see it clearly nowadays...the thing call dance/trance/or whatever is worse than shit.
Wow bunch of sad hair metal doodz who want to bitch about a scene with lots of great bands like AIC, who were pretty much a sleazy heavy metal band early on anyway.
All that rack gear was thousands of dollars back then. Now it’s in the back of the store and it’s negotiable. I love my rack. I love Bills sound. Always have. Can’t stand the Yamaha thought. Frets are way to high, it feels scalloped. If your heavy handed it’s not fun.
Hes not only a great musician but he is also a master sound guy XD
This dude is a beast! Very underrated for such talent all things music related.
this guy is brilliant guitarist
Every song on this album was perfect, why the hell this band is not bigger is beyond me.

Peggy Kimnall 😂😂😂thats funny cause they are still on tour.
@@peggykimnall4372 troll much?
@Peggy and your last hit record or tour was when ?
Because like winger and others, they were unfortunately late to the party starting right before “grunge” was pushed.

A very tech-oriented talented guitarist.
Firehouse are touring and they sound great. Bill's guitar playing is great.

Bill was a MONSTER player in his time at the top. Seen Firehouse live many times and they slayed every time!!! Bill had amazing stage presence!
Awesome guy. So honest and personable.

Grunge came in late 1991 and was gone by 1995. Grunge wasnt really all that.
@@i.ronnick9683 true - didn't even last as long as pop/hair metal did.

Nice guitar!
This is how the true artist look like
Kickass!
Good old days when they had so many effects chain stacked up with the cabinet and needed sound guy to switch the settings during live play.
Didn't Bill talk about his Boss Limiter pedal at the end of this video?
Probably because they were getting started right as Rock N Roll was dying unfortunately.
You mean there time,,,,grunge was born right?
That's just mind numbing for me lol. Ill just plug and play ha.
His a mojo guy :D
